My suggestion would be to have your friend follow up with the woman directly and ask for his money back. Maybe she will make it right. I wouldn't hold my breath but who knows. If she doesn't "make it right" you ought to follow up on that as well.

In her defense she is a woman running a business no different than any of us with a dry cleaners, plumbers, car repair place, etc. If someone is saying bad stuff about my business or my people online I want to defend my brand and business reputation. IMO she has handled the situation maturely. She attempted to take the matter up privately, was polite and didn't engage in a drama-filled flame war like we see on so many boards.

I do not support openly sharing with hookers / pimps / madams / mamasans / clubowners the existence of this place. That said history has shown that many of them are aware of the boards. It is afterall a public site. I am guarded about what I post here because I know my audience is much broader than the 50 or so of us that regularly contribute.
