Streetwalker Reports

Well I've reported on my findings, or lack there of. Just to toss out some general impressions after a couple of days in Baltimore.

First, the traffic engineers seem to have been working overtime to totally screw up the traffic lights. Not only in the mongering areas, but the city as a whole. I did some site seeing, some 'emergency' shopping yesterday (even the drug stores were packed), and mongered W/W and Patapsco with a quick trip past PP. I've lived and visited a lot of places, but Baltimore lights SUCK, I'd rate them even worse than Dayton, OH and I DESPISED the traffic lights there. One light turns red and the one just beyond it turns green. When your red goes green, the next one goes red. Don't care which way I was going, one ways, two ways, anyway, the lights are screwy and extremely long.

On the plus side. I stayed at the Quality Inn on Caton. Not the best motel, but for an extended monger stay, acceptable. Certainly centrally located for W/W and Patapsco. Priced between $50-$60 a night and includes a continental breakfast. All rooms are outside accessible. Okay for the amenities. I was a bit concerned with my room door though. The piece to keep people from prying open the door was missing and it looked like the door had been jimmied a couple of times in the past. So I didn't leave anything of great value in the room. One MAJOR BOON to the room though was the floor safe in the corner of the closet/sink area. Pick your own four digit combo. It was big enough for my camera and some other stuff. Good place to leave "extra's" like credit cards, spare keys, money while out mongering.

Now I did have to show an ID when I checked in, but I had reserved the room with a credit card and my AAA (for a discount). Not sure if they would rent for a couple of hours, but with their lack of business, I wouldn't be surprised if they did, or turned their head if you left early. :D

My only regret, the ladies weren't out for me to partake. But I did get a good feel for the area, especially the CB/Patapsco stroll.

Ran the CB/BC loop 8-10 times today between 4-5 PM and saw a lot of nothing. LE out, but seemed occupied or were hanging out in several convenience stores.

I have read a lot about Pontiac lately, so I decided to focus my attention there. What a difference. Although I saw 5-6 WSW (mostly on the end above the one-way, I did not see anything to my liking. I decided to try the CB loop one more time--still nothing.

Maybe one more run up Pontiac before I go home defeated. This time I saw Nichole and scooped her up in a heartbeat. Yeah I thought the exact same thing when I read them. This is the same person. Either that or its a couple of friends playin around on the board. My guess is they too young to drive and I apologize if I am wrong about this but I don't think that I am.

Anyway, I am from Harrisburg PA and there is absolutely no SW here anymore. Back in the mid 70 to early 80's there were 2-3 girls on every corner all the way down 3rd but a new mayor came in and cleaned it all up within a year. What bothered me was that he is openly gay, which is fine by me, you are who you are but the girls were nothing that he was interested in so why mess with their livelyhood.

You are correct. That is exactly what I should have done. I understand that our hobby has risks, but these girls can clearly see that they are infected with something. They do not have to be a medical student to figure out that it may be contagious.

It seems that most of the Baltimore SW's now have these symptoms. I am starting to think that Benchseats Rocks may have a valid point about our health and personal safety are the most important thing. I think that I may be through with Baltimore as a shopping place. Amps and escorts, here I come.
