Just curious about them time of day or night that most guys see providers. It seems that quite a few don't get going till late afternoon or night. As much as I would like to, I can't just leave the house for a bit at 7 or 8 pm. Thoughts?

Easier to assess the situation in the daylight if visiting an unknown area; the ladies might be a little more refreshed too, assuming they got some sleep.

There's no way I can go out at night for an hour or two unless I have the house to myself. I do early afternoon appointments right after work. I think that there are quite a few providers that are up in the morning and do a lot of daytime appointments, so I can't say I've had a problem with finding ones to fit my schedule.

You know, I have seen people come and people go while in the hobby. Didn't really think a lot about it. Just seemed a way of life.

Till, about a month ago.

I had a visit from a friend who I have been knowing for years come by and tell me, he had 6 months to live. We all do the reflection back, saying wish I had called more or the whatever. Seems we take to much for granted I guess. Even the pity drama which doesn't mean a damn thing, will stop anyone from calling. As a friend of mine said. "Enjoy them while you can".

Really struck home.

Guess what I am trying to say in this post, don't take a thing for granted. In 5 months does all the bullshit really matter?

I am looking to get back in the hobby. However, all decent providers need references or a verified account. In order to have a verified account you either pay for it or review providers. Paying for it seems pointless to me because LEO can do that. Providing reviews is impossible because you can't get an appointment without being verified...so frustrating.

I have been out of the hobby for about 3 years but have been an avid lurker of these boards.

Any tips?

MG.[/QUOTE]I'm new to this too and have found the only way to get any references is to provide screening information, like your real name and work information. I'm sure you have reservations about that (we all do), but it was a risk I was willing to take, and the info wasn't compromised. Candace at SBL and several independent providers (Vicky and Melissa Nash to name a few) do employment screening. I've just become a member at P411, which despite recent posts, appears to be the most respected verification site. I can tell you they were very thorough in screening me anyway.
