They advertise a few times a day (at least) on CL, backpage and tazlist. Not too hard to find. Why don't you clue us in on the strange stuff you have been hearing. We would like to know.
Yeah, as much as I enjoy the One, I also noticed a breach of hygiene.
The table in the room has a bedspread over it, like a sheet. The girl lays a "fresh" towel over that for you to lie on, but that's it. It's the same sheet from the previous monger, with any and all body fluids left behind, absorbed. And the pillow case is the same too, so they lay a mini-towel over that. Same deal.
None of that is very good. Any skin issue is there.
Maybe I'll be bringing my own sheets next time.

Back when I was living in Penn, I would go to the AMPs there and one time I got red bumps all over my nether region. I was afraid, but I manned up and went to the emergency room, not my primary care, and found out it was an allergic reaction to the soap. (I didn't think it was an std because I am always covered but the bumps scared me).
Now when I go, I ask to see the soap. This way I can make sure it isn't some cheap brand they got from a market in China town. Also you get to see them open a new package, so you know the soap is used on you first.

I've been hearing some strange stuff.
I know I'm not far beyond newbiehood but these vague 1 and 2 line real newbie posts are annoying as hell. Please supply some info and maybe you'll get some valuable answers.
Off my soapbox now.
When I think about it, they use the same table shower for everyone and when I was there, they didn't wash it well before I jumped on. There was actually soap still on the table from the guy before me. given that you lay down face first with an unclean body, and all of that shit gets on the table, it's not unreasonable to think that the scum isn't being passed from person to person, especially if the table isn't being cleaned. This is a fun hobby but it's too damn risky at this place.
Given the magnitude of traffic at this place the odds are something is going to get caught by someone eventually. I used to love it there but not so sure anymore. Assuming everything read lately is true, I agree its too risky. Maybe one of you braver mongers can let them know. Sounds like they should probably hire a shower attendant just to keep it sparkling - that would be a start anyway. With the amount of turnover at the place, maybe the girls just don't give a damn about cleaning the table.
Spanky - did you visit the doc?
There was actually soap still on the table from the guy before me.
It just occurred to me as you have this all over yourself it could be they are actually using some kind of newer, stronger cleanser on the table (still soap on the table) and you have had a reaction to it. Of course, yer privates are going to be more sensitive to this. Happened to me once when the ex gave me a bubble bath - same exact thing - don't remember what she used. Doc said it was a reaction and I ended up taking oatmeal baths for relief (usually recommended for chicken pox; you can get it at the drugstore). It cleared by itself but, boy, it was miserable. See your doc, for sure.
There are definitely some issues with health at One Spa. I went there two weeks ago and now have some sort of skin condition. Did you see a DR. to see what it was, he may have been able to tell if it was transmittable second hand or had to be skin to skin contact or a simple inflammation.
Did you see a DR. to see what it was, he may have been able to tell if it was transmittable second hand or had to be skin to skin contact or a simple inflammation.
Look up Folliculitis. It is like an irritation or infection of the skin and hair follicles. Can also be picked up in pools and hot tubs. Looks inbetween a pimple and a boil.
Then there are Staph infections that could be picked up. Then "MRSA" antibiotic resistant and trickier to treat and also contagious. You read how it is in locker rooms. I m not a doctor and I don't play one on TV either.

I've been to dozens of AMPs over the years in several states. I've never seen one without a camera trained on the front door.

Heavenly hands in RI had one at the front door and you could see the TV monitoring it when you walked in. Lily's has one, never seen one in a room and occasionally I do try to look for one.
I think it's more for there safety than anything else.

My first thought would be you have a contact dermititis type rash. I don't believe there is an STD with the type of rash you are describing. After the TS, I usually can hear the girl, while I am lying on the massage table, in the TS room cleaning up. They also usally clean and warm up the table before you go in. I like the first visit of the day, because the girl and equiptment is clean. I can hear everything going on when its quiet, and cleanliness is pretty universal with the asian massage parlors. You could have been exposed to a new soap, or maybe the table wasn't clean. Bottom line, this could have happened at your gym also.
Gina is back!
I enjoy reading review after review of the hot and sexy babes at One Spa. And some of the other local places. I have had these kind of "sessions" in the past.
Then you want something different. That's where Gina excels.
I walk out from Gina feeling relaxed and cared for. She is really good at what she does.
Did you see a DR. to see what it was, he may have been able to tell if it was transmittable second hand or had to be skin to skin contact or a simple inflammation.
Dudes, I do not normally diagnose without seeing the patient (aka victim!), but what is being discussed here can only be ONE thing: Molluscum. Here is an excerpt from a useful "laymens" (pun intended?!) website on this:
•Molluscum contagiosum may be sexually transmitted by skin-to-skin contact (does not have to be mucous membranes) and/or lesions. Transmission through sexual contact is the most common form of transmission for adults.
•MCV may be transmitted from inanimate objects such as towels and clothing that come in contact with the lesions. MCV transmission has been associated with swimming pools and sharing baths with an infected person.
•MCV also may be transmitted by autoinoculation, such as touching a lesion and touching another part of the body. To stop from further spreading the infection, do not shave over or close to areas that are visibly infected.
Please note carefully bullet point #2. The entire description can be found at http://www.ashastd.org/learn/learn_mc.cfm#2.
I am familiar with this "little" problem, both as a professional, as well as a victim! The bad news: with treatment (usually acid to burn off the viral lesions) it will last 3-4 months. Without treatment, it will last about a year, and resolve by itself (usually). The GOOD news: once you contract it and it goes away (whether treated or not), you are VERY VERY unlikey to ever get it again--there is usually permanent immunity, unless you encounter a very unusual strain.
The BEST way to contract this is skin-to-skin. (Condoms provide ABSOLUTELY NO PROTECTION WHATSOEVER!) But it is VERY easily contracted through contact with objects--especialy those that remain moist-- that have picked up the virus--this is NOT herpes, or syph, or clap (which require close contact). One of the BEST ways of transmitting it is via moist contact with objects that have picked it up--read "table shower" tables, towels, toilet seats, etc, etc,--unlike most STDs, it is VERY contageous, and has been known, in the experience of many clinicians, to be rapant in Asian massage places, where wet contact with previous clients' wet skin is the norm.
However--more GOOD news: it is pretty damn harmless--except--try getting ANY provider to play with you if you have it! The lesions are obvious, often bright red, and look like little red pimples with white tops, but a generalized red rash in the region of exposure is also common. And if you see that on a girl, the probability that you will contract it if you have sex (condoms or otherwise) is VERY VERY high!
I have "hobbied" for a LONG time--well over 300 providers--many of them without a condom--but I have ALWAYS avoided the massage places because of this problem! (I contracted it a long, long, time ago, but thankfully, am now immune.) And once you have it and become immune, you CANNOT pass it to others! (Please note that syph, clap, and NGU do NOT result in immunity!)
There is so much mis-information out there--especially on this website--that is TOTAL bullshit--so I thought I would provide this post as a public service.
So here is my (professional) as well as hobbyist advice: If you have had this problem and are now "clean"--feel free to frequent the Asian massage places to your little heart's content--you will NOT contract it again (>99% of the time) and you cannot transmit it. But if you have NOT been exposed, chances are BETTER THAN EVEN that you will contract it, EVEN IF YOU JUST LAY ON A CONTAMINATED SHOWER TABLE!
Again, this is a BENIGN condition--the WORST part being that no provider will want to get near you for the 3-4 months that it is visible--and it is VERY visible! (So forget about sex or even close contact with your wife or girlfriend during that time, unless you want an ex-wife or ex-girlfriend!)
If you contract it I DO recommend seeing a doctor--preferably a dermatologist--as the derms are VERY familiar with the condition and will help you get rid of it in the fastest and most expeditious manner. Unlike Herpes, once the lesions are gone for a week or two, you can NEVER again transmit it!
As I said, I cannot diagnose over the internet--but feel free to PM if you wish, and I will try to answer your questions as best I can. But I CAN assure you of one thing: if the lesions come into contact with your wife or girlfriend, and if she has not previously been exposed and developed immunity, she can and almost certainly WILL contract it.
I have fucked over 300 girls--many of them providers--and since I LOVE Asian girls, many of them were Asian--and many I fucked bareback! But it was thru the kind of experience described on this board that I contracted it--a long time ago. And because I am now immune, I do not worry about it any more. My advice (both as a professional as well as hobbyist): avoid the Asian massage places! (This problem is RAMPANT in east Asia--especially Thailand and Korea.) But even the skankiest of stripclubs, street girls, etc, in the USA are unlikey to give you this problem--I KNOW from experrience! But when wet, re-used towels and/or tables, and/or seats in saunas are invoved--well, caveat emptor!
PM me if you wish. And I hope Jackson does not delete this post and tell me to put it in the "safe sex" forum! This is NOT an STD! But if you go to Asian massage places, especially, as described here, where it is already known to be present--you will in all likelihood contract it. So, Jackson--if you are reading this--this is an IMPORTANT and clearly, from the last few posts, a LOCAL problem, and I think you should NOT delete or re-route this post. Although a "public service", my reasons are also selfish--if word gets around that this is now rampant in Providence, a lot of girls, even those not associated with the spas, will likely cut back on services! But remember: skin contact ALONE or contact with contaminated objects is what transmits this--BBBJs, BBFS, DATY, etc, etc-- are TOTALLY irrelevant!
As a professional, I just HATE when misinformation drives the truck! The probability of getting HIV--even without a condom--is less than 1/1000--even if you have sex with a carrier. On the other hand, the probability of contracting Molluscum, unless immune, with skin to skin or contact, or contact with contaminated objects, is ALMOST CERTAIN. The problem is, the professional drug salesmen, condom vendors, etc, love to hype the "STDS", in order to sell their wares. But for Mulloscum, there are NO wares to sell! THINK ABOUT IT! ---Dr Lovestrange
Gina is back!
Thanks for the info, but I will have to call and findout, last I heard is that Pleasant street is a FS, I doubt Gina will work in a FS place.
Please PM me if you have any more info.
