If you commit a crime and they trace it back to your computer, maybe. IF you are in a chat room and they set you up, maybe. But parked outside a motel that has wireless? Not possible. They can't just turn on a "monitoring" device and see / read / hear / know anything that is being done on computers inside that particular location. It's just not true.

Ok I recieved a 17 text long message from this number 586843899, it was talking about they aren't a client they are a business, and and that they are creating fake reviews (bad) for me now and they are going to ruin my name and that they want me to work for them in the dance industry, and I will thank them later. CRAZY!
I'm wondering if anyone else had had issues with this number?

If Leo had the technology to monitor every msg and website folks looked at on the Internet we would all go to jail. And the cost would be enormous plus all the lawsuits that would follow for invasion of privacy.
I've been reading about the competitions and breakfasts and all that good stuff and frankly my feelins are hurt. It's just not fair, here I am workin all the time and why'all are just eatin up all the good pu pu pu providers (slight studder). If they can intercept wireless internet, they surely can do landlines. Same for cellular. Hell, they're probably logging this site. If they want you, they will get you. Be a small target and be safe.

That's illegal. The constitution gives us a reasonable right to privacy. We are a free country last time I checked and unless you are the focus of an investigation or such I don't see how LEO could just monitor all the internet activity of all the hundreds of thousands of people using wireless in hotels. Just my thoughts. Please, any of you out there who have law degrees, tell us about invasion of privacy and how it's illegal.
