Could be they've missed your emails, could be they have too many clients at the moment & have to be selective, or could be you didn't meet their criteria. Whatever it is, all we can do is speculate. Probably not the answer you want to hear, but if you haven't heard back after a follow-up, then it's probably one of the latter two. It sucks, but I wouldn't take it too personally.
