I mean, you've got to be a special kind of naive to think that some guy off a web site that you've never heard of is going to sweep in and fix your life by throwing piles of money at you. And yeah, there are a lot of women who are that naive. But there are limits.

Every girl I meet from the sugar sites has horror stories about how many creeps and scammers they had to deal with.

In the past, at least, there were mail-order-bride pipelines that were 90 percent about getting girls into the US. As soon as the bride got the green card the marriage would be annulled but she got to keep the green card. I know that I got hit up to do this in Russia and Vietnam in the late 90's. In one memorable case it was this absolutely adorable 19-year-old I met in Irkutsk. Her parents were trying to talk me into marrying her so I could take her to the USA. No shit. I won't go into the details but it sounded like there was a whole miniature industry set up around doing just that. Hard to imagine but probably every random chad who went to Siberia got these offers and I imagine quite a few followed up on it.
