Largely that you have no complaints about the encounter. I'd do whatever I could do (within reason and convenience) to get her back her dough. It was hers. She prolly got the tickets from some monger as "payment" and she has no ID-card that allows her to cash them or no idea 'how to' so in essence they are worthless to her.

Two very different points of view from the previous commenters.

Generally speaking, I think shampoo has the better mindset and I think it's better to treat SW out there well. A part of me even thinks of seeing SW as a charity.

Although, the pessimistic side of me sees some truth in don's comments. A lot of the SW out there are just barely there and barely holding on. Most of them can't even manage keeping a phone.

As a side note, I have observed an increase in bad attitudes and poor performance among SW.

In fact, even in my day-to-day life, I've been noticing an uptrend in people with shorter temper and are more prone to outbursts.

I have also noticed an increased frequency in them leaving stuff behind. Most of the time it's been something to keep warm so I would just give it to the next girl that looks cold. Occasionally it's a bag of dope or a pipe.

1. Someone to help you hit a vein.

2. Someone to watch your stuff while you're gone.

3. Someone who watches over you while you're nodded in the street or an abandon structure of some sort.

That said, there are definitely common themes among SW / escorts. Say if you have 10 female sex workers (mostly white) 2 will have white boyfriends, 1 will have a Hispanic boyfriend, 1 will be gay, and the rest will all have black boyfriends / handlers. It's just overwhelming that most sex workers have black boyfriends / handlers.

I think culture plays a role in this because white and Hispanic men culturally tend to be ok with using sex workers but not dating them out of embarrassment, where as in black urban culture, black men are actually frowned on for using sex workers as it means you have "no game", but it's ok to use women as a way to make money.

What I find interesting also is that Philadelphia is the most racially segregated large city in America, so you rarely see interracial couples outside of Kensington. Suburban white women just don't date outside their race. Even in poor white neighborhoods a white girl can have a hard time from her family for dating a black man, but if these suburban white girls get strung out on drugs they quickly find a black boyfriend.

It's a necessity in this hobby. K Avenue is a mystery as to why there are times where you have more choices than your budget would allow and other times, like you just recently experienced, you have no options but to go home and come back another day.

I don't know if this is absolutely true but given the amount of money that goes into that neighborhood via government transfer payments (Social Security, disability checks, welfare, unemployment) some of our providers (and the people they stay with) are flush with cash at the beginning of each month. The opposite can be seen at the end of the month when money is tight, they will be out there hustling.

Think about it, would you want to service unknown people and brave the outdoor elements unless you absolutely had to? I am guessing your experience had more to do with the calendar date than most people realize. Report back when you do go again, fortune favors the brave.

I still ride thru there on my way home when I'm coming from the Ave on the late night. The stretch on old york from Loudon up to Windrim used to my area with quality BSW's back in the mid 2000's & early 2010's. I still will see something on Ruscomb street from Old York Road & 13th st.

You guys need to be careful riding around. Car jackings are up. There was an attempted car jacking on Torresdale ave by a known stroll spot. That's the only lure of K Ave at this point, the prospect of meeting that one new girl who is fresh in the game and healthy before the Kensington streets run them into the ground.
