"Sugarbabies" / "Arrangements" Amateurs or Not?

After my dinner date with the nursing student HCB last week, all has been quiet. We have texted back and forth a few times, and I have tried to move her along, with no success. After a few minutes she came out and sat with her friends. I gave her a polite nod and left. After I was home I got a couple more texts from her, very apologetic. I responded that I am discreet, not going to cause her any problems with her friends, that I live very close and stop in myself from time to time. I left it with the message that I am interested but the ball is in her court. I think that this will either push her to me or away from me, can't wait to find out which.

I'd appreciate any insight that would be offered![/QUOTE]My experience is that if you buy the ticket these days the passenger can't get cash for it, rather they credit back your card if you or she cancels in time and there's some refund coming. However the problem with buying the ticket for her is that there is a paper trail tying you to her. I think she can probably find out your real name from the airlines if she wants. If thats ok with you then no problem, buying her the ticket is the way to go because she can't cash it in (but she could just not show up in which case you lose the fare).

On the other hand, if you send her the money for the ticket, there is a significant possibility you will never see her or the money again. One of the most common scams is for an sb from London, Latvia, Boston or wherever to ask the sd to send money so she can travel to him.

Notice that BT's list of suggestions based on extensive experience starts with "be sure she is legit" and he suggests you fly to see her first.

I bought tickets for a stripper and her friend to fly to join me on a trip to Miami. They had my real name. (I was dumb, but she was gorgeous and Mr Johnson usurped the negotiations). I woke up one morning in a panic and realized the strippers had enough information to sink me and if they didn't enjoy themselves in Miami, they could give me a different kind of screwing than I wanted. So I canceled and told the girls to cash in the tickets and keep the money. They tried and the airlines said no. I cancelled and got a partial refund and sent the full amount of the tickets to the girls. I told myself I got off cheap. If I ever do it again I will just send them the cash and not my name but I will "first make sure they are legit." Unless Johnson gets involved again.

She may be spooked a little by the chance meeting, but you handled it so adult like, that if she's truly SB material, you should get bonus points. Keep us updated.

You don't need I D to buy them and you can make them payable to a specific party. If they get lost in the mail and / or remain uncashed you can eventually get your money back. Once you have them you can make them payable to a specific party, like an airlines, so they can't be used for anything else.

At least thats my conclusion after limited experience with them. I know you can buy them anonymously at the post office. Up to $1k I think. I know you can restrict the payee and get the money back if they are lost. I don't know how many airlines accept them. A google search indicates at least some do. So further research or input needed for sb travel purposes but seems promising.

There can be some bad consequences with some crazy and devious SBs out there. You get off easy if all it costs you is some extra cash.

I don't know if it's the nice weather or what, but I've been pretty busy with SA, and it's only been 2-3 days since I've been back on it.
