The government response to COVID — idiotically shutting down the entire economy — sparked massive inflation across every aspect of life. Apartment rents, especially, skyrocketed. That made it impossible for the k-agencies to hold prices at 250/ hr. Just like a typical fast-food meal no longer costs $8. It's $18 now.

Seriously it can be quite the annoyance at times.
