I had some time on my hands the other day and and decided to give Zen a retry. I mean it used to be the best, so I figured with lots of people talking about other places, maybe they had changed back to the old ways. Boy was I ever wrong. Drew "Jancie" or something like that. They do have a table shower. However if you want a shower, you must ask for it. I'm not sure why that is. In this Charleston heat at this time of year, you will most likely be sweating when you go in. But (in typical Chinese fashion) they will try first to remove he sweat with towels first. So if you want a table shower (and who doesn't? Then just ask for it. Actually, Sunday is one of the best days to go.
Remember though, this is Charleston, not Baltimore. It's not going to be up there with what you may have come to expect in Charm City.
