I like mongering in Vegas. I make sure I avoid the people handing out cards or advertising on those trucks (they're all scams) But there's a really good legit scene there. And I like the diversity. I agree our Chicago scene is weak at best. Las Vegas is filled with tourist trap mentality talent. Casino girls are occasionally a good find but again this is more a spur of the moment thing.

The hidden gem that is not a big deal to get to is Toronto. Flights are cheap. There is something for everyone from the street to high end SWers on Twitter. The exchange rate is usually favorable and it's a cheap flight.

You can also score genuine Cuban cigars at the Duty Free shop on the way home.

When things open up again I'll be heading to Toronto.

Low hour pilots take underpaid jobs to get logged flying time to be considered by the larger airlines, like private jet and commuter and small airlines. I couldn't survive on the pay scale so I quit. I think I know who you mean, but can't recall her name. I think she flew with me twice as co-pilot. And still brings in the same revenue. The only question is if it's constitutional. It certainly seems like entrapment.
