My opinion is that you are over thinking. I would be more concerned with a scammer than LE on CL. Hopefully, the police have more important things to do than posting ads on CL-CE. Just one guy's opinion.

There have been reports of LE setting people up in this way. Most frequently it seems that they are tied to drug references as well. The most recent busts in Burlington, I believe in the news story they mentioned getting some of the people or just one person through a craigslist posting.

Norfolk County actually has LE that spends a good portion of their time seeking out drugs for sex. Most MP's would only get the investigation if there is a complaint and then most of the time it is either local BOH or other that shuts them down. New ones pop up probably as a result of one being shut down. It will continue on. The key is to keep your eyes open all the time.

Without actually blowing me at all, that is. I figure, like I said, stuff happens. It's nice if she apologizes (even if the apology is BS and she simply double-booked clients for the same time), especially if I've driven somewhere to pick her up for a car date.

If she blows me off a second time, I no longer give her the benefit of the doubt. Sure, it's possible that stuff has happened for a 2nd time, but it's also possible that she's just a flaky drug-using chick who could care less about developing a repeat clientele. And why should she? Post a picture of a pretty lady in an ad (it might be her, and it might not be, but by the 2nd time I've been blown off I tend to doubt whatever she says) and you're going to find no shortage of horndogs to contact you.
