On another note, this is a continuing story in the Salem Evening News. Apparently the State and local police have been monitoring that and other establishments as well as web sites that review such establishments. Also states that the pd grabbed a few mongers and interviewed them. Thus gathering more info from the crusty old men leaving the AMPs as they sang like Polly the parrot. Check it out and be careful.

Not sure what happens with the case but most of the time the court will take the money and give it to the cops. It is like when they give out speeding tickets they get the money. With all the massage places opening up there has been an increase of awareness of their illegal doings. Almost everyday you read about a place getting busted for prostitution. Maybe we supply to much info here and in other forums.

As for her issue with Member #4069, well, I don't think that either one of them should worry. She is afraid that she'd be recognized by her tattoos and if you look at the photo there is no way that anyone could decipher who in the hell is on the photo and what kind of tattoos does that body carry. What you should be most aware of is:
1) If you get caught soliciting the fines are mandatory. The minimum fine is now $1, 000 and the max is now $5, 000.
2) In addition to the fine, you can get jail time, even for the first offense. What this probably translates into is lots of suspended sentences with the provision that you go to "John School", which is at least a fairly significant inconvenience.
The major changes actually impact facilitators far more than anyone else, such as those running escort services or owners of strip clubs. Without any proof of coercion needed, if one of their girls complains that she was bullied into sex work of any kind (including stripping!) then the facilitator gets a mind-boggling $1 million dollar fine, a substantial jail term, and can even be sued by the provider who is now considered a victim. You can bet if I owned a Mass strip club right now, I'd have already closed the doors. In fact, I wonder what they might do if you are found getting a lap dance?
This nanny state craziness has to end. I can't tell the difference between Democrats and Republicans anymore.

Question that's been intriguing me for a little while now is why "regular" western women seem to be so hostile towards prostitutes. Sometimes their hostility is so all-encompassing that it makes one think there is some envy or other ulterior motive involved. Several times already a woman would tell me that she would prefer her significant other to have an affair on the side then for him to visit a pro once in a while. Now, if this is not stupid I don't know what is. I have no doubt that in Martha Coakley's case her personal sentiments figured greatly into her pushing this latest law.
Also, they are under impression that all women hate being providers and are nearly enslaved and forced to do it while nothing could be farther from the truth. I mean sure there are some but they are rather exceptions then the rules. You know once in a blue moon I see an interview with some Las Vegas pro who when an anchor asks her "So how did you get into such an awful business?" would begin to respond: "Actually, it's not that bad." and as she about to expand on her answer the anchor instantly cuts to commercial. LOL. It is so obvious sometimes it's funny.
I mean look, in South America I met quite a few girls who after remaining unmarried pass their 25 birthday or even earlier were send by their families to "work with foreigners." They sometimes are the only real breadwinners and by themselves feed large families. Now, no doubt, I do feel for them since decision was imposed on them and it was an offer they couldn't refuse. Majority however still just preferred a more lucrative provider's salary to something more secretarial or more carrier oriented where you actually had to work more and get paid less.
I'm also aware of some situations when Eastern European girls came here thinking they are going to work as nannies and ended up doing something else, if you know what I mean. By the way, most of those who end up doing that "something else" originally come here with such an intent too. It is well known all throughout the former Soviet Union that as long as you don't give up your passport, nobody would be able to force to do anything.
But this near-maniacal hostility towards prostitution is crazy. In most countries women begin to worry only if their husband develops relationship on a side with another "regular" woman where it can lead to him actually leaving the family. In fact some women even think that going to prostitutes may prevent that. In some Asian cultures wives themselves would often pick "an outlet" for their husband in order to be able to keep an eye on it and have it more under their control. For God's sake, in Thailand I was told that a wife would at times even pay for the provider herself so the provider would know who is her actual client and who she's indebted to!
There is joke I heard which kind of illustrates the point: "A french woman returns from a business trip and asks her husband how many affairs did he have while she was away."Just one," he responds. Her face grows concerned."Only one?" she says with an alarm in her voice,"that's not good!"
But here it's something pathological, definitely unhealthy, and almost weird in regards to the attitudes of other women towards prostitutes.

The fines and sentences are mandatory which scares me. With the economy now I am lucky to afford this hobby.

Many would be perfectly willing to legalize hard drugs, like heroin or what have you but would get quite hostile about legalizing prostitution. More weird is the fact that they would rather except (and forgive) their boy-friend / husband having an actual affair then visiting a pro.
To me that makes no sense. Visiting a pro usually is no big deal while having an affair is an actual threat to the relationship. That's why sometimes I think that there is some sort of envy involved.

I know that personally, the majority of civies just don't do it for me anymore. I've come to expect more than just being happy that I'm getting it at all, which seems to be what many civies expect of us. I expect the oral skills of a porn star, and expect just the BJ portion of the sexual encounter to last at least 20 minutes or so before moving on to the main event. Which in my experience is simply beyond what many civies are willing to do (or even capable of in some cases).
