Waiting On The World To Change
I am still on my break. Things have slowed down a bit. I am finding it very interesting sitting here on the side lines, and watching. I am a little like those older gentleman at the DD, that Gareth mentioned. Or, like it says in the song, “I’m just sitting, waiting for the world to change.”
I have returned to Andreas’ place of residency a couple of times. Her roomies seem to think she has fallen into the hands of LE. I am of the opinion that she is somewhere in South Philly, enjoying the benefits of being on CraigList. Her ad is still running daily and she has been joined by a new friend. I am certain that this is the work of an agency or someone who has a computer and lots of time. If Andrea is in the pokey, as her roomies suspect, then there may be a bait and switch operating at the number listed in Andreas’ CraigList ad. I miss Andrea. I was counting on her to be my go to girl during this period. I have decided to move on.
I have been very disappointed, to say the lease, in my attempts to get in touch with Caity. Either her minutes have dried up or Kerri has eaten her. I have searched out the area of last known contact with no avail. I believe Kerri has been spotted, report on and avoided. I will continue to seek out Caity, but I’ve given up on the number and she has been moved down on my list of things to do.
Suzy, on the other hand, remains a target within range. We have spoken together a few times but have not been able to arrange a meeting time suitable to both of our needs. She is still in the area.
No one is going to replace Andrea, in my heart. She was reliable and resolute in the performance of her duties. She is going to be hard to replace. She stood the test of time. However, it is time to reach out for another favorite. While looking for Andrea’s replacement, I’ve had to fall back on another old reliable friend, Jennifer. As much as I like Jennifer, she lacks that certain something that Andrea had.
That brings me up to date with the happening during this, my time off from the streets.
I plan to remain on hiatus until such time as I feel I’ve gotten my edge back. Until then I’ll continue to lurk in the background, hunt by way of the phone and visits to a few known houses.
