Hey guys.

I know it sounds timid but I have a serious question.

Are you taking antibiotic / antiviral drug right after having sex with pros?

If so, what are your favorites and why?

My choice is either Fish Mox (pure amoxicillin) or Fish Pen (pure penicillin).

They are my favorite since both of them are antibiotic of super high quality (purer than the one from pharmacies) and come in capsules.

But I'm thinking of adding antiviral drug too for herpes prevention since antibiotic cannot prevent herpes.

Taking 2 drugs at the same time may not be good for kidney in a long run but since I drink at least 1 gallon of water a day, it should be ok.

So what are the choices of yours?

The fact that you are taking any Anti V or B without knowing you have anything is not good practice. This is how organisms build up an immunity to Drugs, not just.

STD's. Get checked first to see if you have anything.

I agree with you that building resistance to antibiotic is dangerous.

However, I don't see pros that often as my fund is limited.

So using antibiotic of 500 mg every once in a while will not build up resistance.

Just one dose, right after sex, and that's about it.

And I don't have any disease and want to make sure I remain in that way.

That seems down the road to cultivate drug resistant STDs. Try to avoid becoming patient zero, they tend to suffer from the entire disease and meet a horrible end.

By continually introducing these drugs into your system, you are ultimately negating their effectiveness. Your body recognizes them as foreign and copes with them accordingly. When you really get ill, your treatment options will be severely limited. Does your Doctor know you engage in this practice?

I don't go for BBFS.

I only get BBBJ and that's where my concern is.

I know the risk is something like less than 3 1% for getting STD while receiving BBBJ (no certain number has been published so it could be wrong) , but

I don't want to take any risk.

I feel nothing from CBJ so BBBJ is the only BB service that I get.

And I don't have particular providers that I see more than twice.

I am currently looking for reliable BBBJCIM providers so I can use them on regular basis.

Am I too paranoid about STD?

Those drugs also need a treatment course of 7 to 10 days, while at best they will only kill a percentage of the infective agent. So if you do have something, you just possibly made it stronger.

If you really want to be proactive, use a condom. If that is not right for you, check the web for the latest treatments and make a Tijuana run or an online pharmacy purchase.

If you get worried, which I do from time to time, here are two free HIV / Std clinics in the LA area. They can do a 10 minute test for HIV and an std screen with results in 7 days. Plus, they will give you the correct treatment. A single shot or a two day dose immeadiately and will give you a partner take home pack.

Its pretty scary to know sometimes the person who has it doesn't even realize they're carrying it. If you think its not that big of a deal, then google Michael Douglas and read about his experience. I know I should use condom to be perfectly safe.

I always use them (for intercourse) except BBBJ since I feel nothing from CBJ.

So this is my Achilles' heel.

I heard similar stories all the time since I work in the healthcare industry.

Some say getting STD from BBBJ is less than 1% chance and some say less than 2, etc. But the fact is no one really knows the accurate rate of getting STD from BBBJ.

My only bb activity is BBBJ, but still I take antibiotic right after the encounter.

But from reading you guys' posts, maybe I should cut back on antibiotic.

I need some time to think this through.

Be safe out there[/QUOTE]All these recent threads have me a bit paranoid as well. Even though I go out of my way to be safe I've decided to give that stdexpress place a try. Basically you can use your insurance, go through the online registration and go to labcorp (all blood or urine based tests). Should be less than $50 and better than waiting in line at Health Dept.

NOT anti bacterial soap because that washes off the GOOD bacteria. Just use regular soap. I think there's a thread in here somewhere about doing that, maybe it was Larry Flynt who had an article about that, I'm not sure but I know this is a good practice. I'll bounce up right after and head to the bathroom to handle it and if need be I just explain that's it's not her it's just my OCD personality. if you did a SW in the car head to a gas station and take care of it.

One standard regime of treatment for prostatitis is Bactrim for a week and then Bactrim along with Doxycycline for another week. Somewhere during that treatment, they'll probably want to run something, that looks to be a hollow motorcycle spoke down the dick to have a look at the urinary bladder. A nurse thoroughly washes the dick out with pHisoHex, same as a cap full of Clorox in a motel room cup full of water, before doing this. I'm at a loss how this could cause kidney failure or forever destroy healthy bacterial processes; the liver knows how to handle these things. In that I always wash my dick out in this manner, as well as bathe and gargle, following any kind of bare back or covered sex, I haven't experienced any strep throat symptoms or STD's symptoms. I'll be damned, should I spend any of my sweat on any cut throat mail order tests. All they do is come back with a not so sure semi positive score just to scam me into to needless and expensive further testing. Survival books advise a few drops of Clorox per quart of drinking water, and wounds are washed out with a pricey form of Clorox called Dakins Solution.

During some mistaken event, that I do catch a bug from some SW, I won't know, whether it's Staph or Strep, so I won't have any choice but to go the Sulmet drinking water solution route along with Doxycycline. Anyone can order the Doxycycline from California Veterinary Supply in its standard two or three times a day. 250mg. Form, and anyone can buy jugs of sulfa drug at their local feed store. As a matter of fact, the veterinary, feed store penicillin works a helluvah lot better than the other kind. It just takes balls to stick that needle in the ass, and one shouldn't have to be told that the clap effective stuff must be kept in the fridge. The Merk Manual tells you, what the symptoms are for the different STD's and what is given for it. The PDR, Physicians Desk Reference, tells the dosages. Both can be Googled up or can be found in the local library. WHEN THERE IS NO DOCTOR, is a book that should be sought after.
