When does Luna and Blair usually work?
Luna is obviously all woman. Even with storebought tits, so is Blair. There's not that many day shift girls at the Sands, and I can't think of a current one I'd immediately call into question...
Get a name from the "reliable source". Then we can stop playing guessing games and evaluate the situation.
'Scuse me while I kiss the sky... -- Jimi Hendrix
Are they day shifts girls? Weekends or Weekdays?
Thanks in advance!
Deja Vu report, Sunday 6/28
First, as a rule: I *never* go into Deja Vus. The last time I'd been there, I was insulted and called "gay" because I didn't want to dance with various skanky-ass-ho-bags. Harumph! I'll take my customer dollar elsewhere, thankyewvurrymuch.
Alas, I'd heard rumors on the Rick's SCL boards that Ruby- a ridiculously hot girl, young, star tattoo by her eye, amerind mix, just gorgeous- was at Deja Vu and had been for the past year+ as a bartender, but was returning as a dancer during days except Fri/Sat. I simply had to check it out- call me a sentimental old horndog, but Ruby was in the top 3 hottest women I've EVER met at Rick's, and while I have no illusions of anything but a chance to check out or play with that redonkulously hot bod again (I'm quite frankly scornful of guys who say they've "falling in love" with strippers. How sad! ). I'm a horny perv-boy and she was insanely, smoking hot. If I go to a high-class restaurant every now and then, I don't expect the chef to like me as a person. I just wanna eat the grub, ya know?
That aside. I went in just after open, around 2:15; didn't realize they didn't open until 2pm on Sundays, so I was surprised to be only one of 3 people- kind of awkward. None of the dancers did anything for me- the best was marginally cute, the rest were depressing. Don't get me wrong- there wasn't anything horrifically mutated, but they all had this look on their faces like they were completely bummed. I can't blame them: I'm going to posit that between Rick's- the "dirty" club- and Deja Vus, the DV clubs are far more sexist, patriarchal, and in their own way demeaning to women than Rick's during the daytime used to be.
The vibe is one of old-school "Mad Men" era sexism, the dancers are all apparently trained to approach guys the same way: walk up from behind (annoying! No one, and I mean no one, likes that), giggle, do the "hey handsome" bullshit, or plop on your lap without asking. It's always the ones that reek of cotton candy that do this, too. Thanks, now I smell like I have no job prospects!
The whole act is completely phony, and laughably so, if it weren't for the fact that the obvious contempt for all men, and self-hating, are nakedly apparent (ha! See what I did there? ). Contrast with daytime Rick's, and the dancers didn't push themselves on you, they had a more "real" approach and by extension the dancers- even the clean ones- were more enjoyable. It's like Rick's, despite its Colacurchatanooga-choo-choo ownership, was more like a sex-positive feminist-owned San Francisco massage parlor than Deja Vu, where the motto is "fleecing idiot backwards-baseball-cap wearing 20-year-old douchebags since 1987! ". It's like "Feminine Mystique" versus "The Rules". Or maybe I'm seeing the heyday of Rick's daytime through rose-and-cum-covered glasses.
In any case, I left after just under an hour, without a single dance. One dancer came up to me and said "Hey, could you gimme a dollar", and I asked "Are you serious? " She said yes, so what the hell- I tucked a dollar into her garter. That's the kind of low rent you'll find in the Forbes' establishments.
As a side note, the cameras thing must be a Deja Vu/Little Darlings standard: the number of ceiling dome cams was INSANE. They were situated like every 3-4 feet in a ring that must have encompassed every. Single. Both. Ick. You want to know the future of strip clubs in Seattle? Imagine a g-string stomping you in the face, forever.
