I remember when the re-modeled club had just opened. There were just tons and tons of hot chicks. Even a few hot blockettes went over. One former Blockette who had met me off-block for $$ (for a full hour - three pops...I was young!) quoted someone else $$$$$$$$$$ for a date outside after she started working there. lmao. And I would never pay $$$$ for a HJ in the champagne room. Lets face it, you can get a hot, uninhibited GFE from one of the florida girls at BWI or downtown B-more for $$$.25. The GGC actually had (or has) a website with a chat forum. This topic came up a few years ago. Management quickly shut it down, especially after a number of folks advised there were girls (and their names were mentioned) who could be "counted on" to deliver. Do you seriously think guys are going in there and paying sometimes as much as $$$$$$ to $$$$$$$$$ for nothing? I have seen guys spend an entire eveing in the champagne room with the same girl.

I do believe that you can get extras, I was a regular for a loooong time, and knew a bunch of the girls, and even dated one in real life. Most girls who work at off-block clubs will never admit to anything going on in the club. There are a number of reasons as to why women would be recalcitrant to admit anything, even if they themselves were not fooling around. But the more you deny something...That being said, I am sure that not all the girls fool around. Probably no more than a few. But to say it does not happen when that much cash is being thrown around is naive.

I hit the Block recently and it was just awful. Absolutely nothing going on anywhere. No talent to speak of. I was in and out of just about every bar in under an hour. But with the holidays coming, I expect things to pick up as the ladies will need some cash to buy the GI Joe with the kung-fu grip for their brats.

Sounds like plans are in the works to make one large strip bar out of the Glass Slipper, Mouse Trap, and Norma Jeans. The Foxy Lady also gets swollowed up but it doesn't clearally say what happens with that bar. I got my first professional hand job at the Glass Slipper and my first professional piece of ass at a previous generartion of the Norma Jeans; I'll miss those places. Entrepreneurs' proposal would combine three clubs into one

A business deal between two well-known adult entertainment entrepreneurs could bring a sprawling new club to Baltimore's Block, according to documents filed with the city's Zoning Appeals Board, which is set to review the proposal tomorrow.

Peter Ireland, the owner of Norma Jeans, and Jack Gresser, a longtime Block landlord and businessman, have submitted paperwork with the city to expand Norma Jeans to two neighboring bars, the Glass Slipper and Mousetrap. Gresser owns the building where the bars are located, according to state records, and he wants the Glass Slipper and Mousetrap out by September 2008.

"We were notified that at that time the lease would be up," said Arianna Johnson, a bartender at the Glass Slipper.

Ireland is asking the city to waive two zoning rules so that he can take over the two clubs. The zoning code states that an adult entertainment venue cannot be larger than 3,000 square feet. Also, because The Block is located in a business district, the expansion of a nonconforming use such as a strip club is subject to special approval.

Ireland could not be reached yesterday, and Gresser did not return repeat telephone calls to his Erdman Avenue office. Both men contribute frequently and generously to state and local political campaigns. In 2005, Ireland contributed $12,920 to elected officials, nearly $3,000 more than the legal limit for individuals.

Gresser owns the entire building at 403 E. Baltimore St. His biggest tenant is Larry Flynt's Hustler Club, which opened in 2003. The Hustler Club is situated on the second and third floors of the building, while Norma Jeans, the Glass Slipper, Mousetrap, and a fourth bar, the Foxy Lady, are on the first floor, with entrances around the corner on Custom House Avenue.

The Foxy Lady is also losing its lease but it will not be used as part of the expansion, according to documents filed with the city.

The move by Ireland and Gresser to create a giant club has been the subject of some discussion on The Block in recent weeks. Some say they are hopeful that Ireland's expanded club could bring in new business. Norma Jeans, which features mostly black entertainers and a hip bar scene, is already one of the more popular venues on The Block. Others say they are angered that Gresser would force out the owners of the Glass Slipper, Mousetrap and Foxy Lady.

"It's putting me out of business," said Lou Hershey, who has owned the Mousetrap for about 20 years and worked on The Block for nearly 30 years. "It's a very rotten deal."

Hershey said he was notified by Gresser about two weeks ago that he would not be able to renew his lease in September. He said he is contemplating taking Gresser to court because the amount of money he will earn by selling his liquor and adult entertainment licenses won't match the amount he might have made if he had sold them as part of a business package.

He said he wants to join forces with the owners of the Glass Slipper and Foxy Lady. "I don't want to get into a lawsuit all by myself," said Hershey.

The Baltimore City Board of Liquor License Commissioners oversees adult entertainment licenses. The head of the board, Samuel T. Daniels, said yesterday that such licenses are tied to the address of an establishment and cannot be moved. A liquor license, however, can be transferred in most cases. Daniels said that it would be up to city officials to decide what to do with the adult entertainment licenses at the three strip clubs.

Said Daniels: "That is definitely a zoning question."

The zoning appeal hearing on the proposed club will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow at City Hall.

Went down to the block Wednesday evening after a very disappointing time with a regular girl I see. Head on into the bar that I frequent for take out. Met up with Cindy (same girl from previous post and as before will not give her name or club name unless pm'd) We are sitting and talking and I ask her why did you call me last week when I was on my way out the door to the airport? She admits to me that her bf who already thinks she does bottles in the bar had her call me. I'm like what the fuck is going on here? She then goes into this whole story about how she does the butter, now I'm shocked because I have been around people who have done this shit and can usually spot the signs. Anyway she goes into this story her bf and herself and some other dude have been doing this shit for two days straight. She then tells me how this other guy wanted to fuck her and how he kept asking her bf could he? Now this shit is starting to sound like that old movie indecent proposal. I'm thinking the bf would probaly say hell no, but she tells me that this dude had spent at least a grand on them the whole weekend and that he wanted to be with her. Now this is the fucked up shit the bf says yes. When she told me that I was like damn baby your bf basically pimped you. She then gets upset and cries on my shoulder, now me being the type of person I am I give her a hug and tell her it's going to be okay and that things will get better. Then as she said he told her to call me so I could come by her place and do her and he was okay with this. I told first her of all he's a mf for having you screw some guy in front of him, second he's a mf for having you call me and ask me to come by. She then asks me if I wanted to be with her and that she needed someone to talk to. My mongering instincts kicked in for just a second but I decided to back off and just be a friend. Gentlemen I pose this question to everyone was I wrong for turning down an opportunity for a free fuck?

You did the right thing bro. Too much of a connection with strippers or SWs causes problems in the long run. Treat them nice and with respect but it's strictly business. I do business with the ones I like.

I hope they don't expand Norma Jeans. I was hoping they would close that club down. In my opinion they attract a negative bad crowd. I believe this is a terrible move. Let's face it, you will see a lot more drug dealers and criminals feeling more comfortable in norma jeans than you would mouse trap. Don't they get it, its flat out more dangerous to go to Norma jeans because of these guys that frequent that bar. I don't see how they will expand business. To do that they will have to get rid of the girls they have, force a dress code and raise the price of drinks. This will force that crowd to go to Lusts. Not to mention every time I go by that bar you feel like you are stepping into a Hip Hop Club. No sir not for me. They need to take another look.

I am trying to determine if the block has a lot of talent for this time of the year. I have notice that it has been rather thin when it comes to ladies available. There are only to places I have witness some talent for under $$$$$. Yes that is correct $$$$$. You can try CP. They a have a few ladies that are more attractive than the others. MT has a tall brunette that has a great body and face. She is young, I would say in here early 20s. RR has a short brunette with a knock out body. Nice big Ta Ta's round bottom and not an inch of fat. You have to catch her on a good day. She never tried to hustle me, but I can imagine her doing that. Don't confuse this one with the real skinny brunette. She is nothing but a hustle job.

I set a new personal best recently. I hit the Block(tm) five, yes 5 nights in a row. Crazy? Of course. It was Kafka-esque. But my persistence did pay off. I scored a Blockette who I did not even have to buy a drink for! Not a great body but really serious skills.

Also got a good offer from another dancer with really big hoo-ha's that will merit some follow-up. Unfortunately she works in the same club as my score, so I will have to be careful. Then again, there is a very hot 18 y.o. in the same club who I have my eye on...no wonder I am there every night!

Of course I am still dreaming that the Italian SW from CB/B will reappear too...wishful thinking there..

I recently had a chance to visit your fair city, and visit the Block, as it is world famous. I saw something I thought was both humorous and odd. There was an Amish man down in the non-stripclub bar, and then he was on the street, taking in the sights. I don't know if he went in a club, bcause I did not follow him. But it sure was odd. I guess it just goes to show you. The more sexually repressed the society, the more deviant the members. Oh wait, I was there too. But I am not a deviant. Now I remember. Yes I am!

You will be far away from any nudie bars.
You have a couple choices. Either go to the Block, pay high prices, get hustled for over-priced drinks, and maybe get laid for a fee or go to the East side of town where the drinks are cheaper, but you won't get laid.
I like the East side bars, Gentlemens Gold Club, Sherrie's, Haven Place, Tony's, El Dorado.
The Block works, too. Just be aware of what it is before you go.

Went to the Block on January 1st - New Years Day. A couple of bars were closed. Not a great selection of strippers working the shift, but that was to be expected.

I did find "Sweets" who is AA and 24 years old, 7 months pregnant. I took her on a date. She is cute, but service leaves a lot to be desired. Felt bad for her because she has a coke problem and is homeless. Got a hotel room so she could clean up and have a safe place to sleep. She pretty much works all the time.
