And given each of your opinions on the subject, I prefer JTM's because his approach mitigates risks rather than invites it.

Each of us approaches this hobby differently which makes for an interesting market. But the odds of getting "clipped" aren't static but dynamic based on each person's behavior. Less precautions equals greater risk. It's that simple. And given the potentially catastrophic consequences, I can understand why many professionals might opt for JTM's approach.

Once you hit the "send" button with your personal info you no longer have control of it and you are relying on the recipient and whomever else might see your information to keep your best interest at heart.

If you don't manage the risk, the risk will manage you.
