Thanks for that ... obviously many of us would not be aware that this practice was "accepted" in some clubs if you didn't tell us. We all need to educate each other on things like this that those of us of various "races," "backgrounds" or whatever might not know.
Throwing dollars on the stage like you're in a rap video is "common" practice at a lot of black strip clubs around Atlanta.
Hey, thanks for the insight, Bbandit. These guys were drinking and having a good time and probably not aware that this was out of place at Oasis. No harm done!
I was at the club last night and had a very good time. I took Tia into the VIP and had a fantastic time. I'm in town for a couple days and will be back for sure. Very fun place and $10 dances on the floor is a deal.
So let us know what wnet on in the VIP? Anything moore than just very up-close-and-personal dances? Was it WORTH $$ when you could have had F/S elsewhere for that?

Anyone have the straight scoop on the Cobb county scene?
It's been years since I cruised a strip club, but I have a hot 19 year old that wants to check them out - possibly with an interest in dancing in them. I'm one of these safe 50 year old grand-dad types (Dirty Old Man, more like it) and will indulge her wishes.
Thanks for the info!

club Wet visit
I've been on a road trip and stayed overnight at a hotel (Quality Inn) at FIB. It was a family-oriented, fairly secure hotel, i.e. not a SW dive like some places people have reported on. That was fine with me. However, when I returned at about 1 am I did recognize a couple strippers with their dates from club Wax -- they were standing outside the front door talking. So I guess stuff happens.
I visited club Wax a 1/4 mile down the road on FIB. At 11 pm on a Saturday night it was surprisingly empty -- only about 15 customers. Most of the girls were Afr.-American. VIP was $40 entry + $20/song. Only a couple girls merited those prices IMHO, and they were engaged by "playas" while I was there.
A SW note: on my way back to the hotel, on the service road that leads to the Travelodge and to my hotel I saw the most beautiful BSW I've seen in 5 years. Tall, slender, with a very pretty face and a nice smile ! But too many police -- lights flashing, cars getting pulled over in the area, etc -- so I resisted the temptation. I'm too old for cat-and-mouse games with the police. But my congratulations to Atlanta for such a fine SW.

Mardi Gras
Visited Mardi Gras last Friday. For me it was filled with beautiful women since my first time going there. Had lot of dances. But remember the one with a black girl name Tina. She was very tempting and sensual. Stayed there for almost 4 hrs. Loved every bit of it. Damage almost $200
Stopped by Oasis last night. I haven't been to a sc in a long time but got the urge. Almost every table was full from 9 pm on but the waitress said it actually was slow for them. Must be standing room only on weekends! Very friendly, fun atmosphere. There were a couple of gangsta types acting like real asses, though. They were sitting near the stage and would literally through handfulls of dollars toward the stage. Seemed to enjoy watching the dancers and managers have to scurry around and pick them up. These two were out of place--mostly a well-behaved crowd. I prefered this atmosphere over the PP, which to me can seem impersonal and "corporate."
Dancers ranged from 6-10, all sizes and flavors. Had lots come by the tables to talk. Seemed friendly without being too pushy. Table dances had lots of contact.
Had a long talk with a cute Filipino dancer. She had worked at Mardi Gras and PP before but liked Oasis more. Said it was hard to get guys into the VIP rooms at Mardi Gras and the rooms are policed too much at PP. VIP is $$ total for a half hour--$30 to club and $170 to dancer. Dancer said she has made up to $800 in one night, mainly from the VIP. She said it was very private and the bouncers only come by if the dancers want them to. I didn't partake and can't report on what happens inside.
Conclusion: This may be my new favorite club in Atlanta. Friendly, fun, lots of hot dancers. If you are just looking for a good time but don't feel a need to "do the deed" this would be a great place.
I was too the Oasis recently, for the first time in a year or two. I think the place has really picked up. IMO it maybe the best in Atlanta right now. The Cheetah blows and I can always go in VIP there for free. Pink Pony is still solid, but I was pleasantly surprised by Oasis.

Flashers
I've been to Flashers a few times, when I'm looking for a more raunchy night. Anyone have any info on FS or HJ's, BJ's, etc., there? PM me if you do, it would be much appreciated.

Saturday Oasis
A couple of friends and I were at Oasis around midnight on Saturday though I should've known better. The place was standing room only. We were there for 45 minutes and a table never became available and the opportunity to interact with one of the many beauties and wonderful variety was non existant.

New clubs
Heard there are two new clubs opening soon.
1. in Alpharetta of all places. My friend heard it on the radio. I have my doubts about it.
2. Galardi club near forest park and the airport. Rumor to open in Sept. I am surprised at the location because they already have one in the metropolitan ave.
Anybody knowing any more info on them.

I'm surprised as all hell that liquor licenses would be approved for any new strip clubs - I've thought for some time that actual new clubs (as opposed to renamed ones like Onyx) were subject to a kind of de facto moratorium.
Forest Park I'm betting would be on 54, maybe just a relaunch of Crazy Horse?
Alpharetta sounds like a suicide move, but if it can stay open kudos to them ;)

They jusy opened a club in Griffin of all places. Full nudity and the only club south of AMS. That surprised me.

Pink Pony South: 4730 Frontage Rd. In June 2005, Dennis Williams, Executive Vice-President, MIA Luna, Inc. dba Pink Pony South was notified that all required plan reviews related to Phase I, adult entertainment cabaret, bar and restaurant were approved and ready to obtain a building permit. On December 7, 2005, Tommy Gravitt, Contractor, Engineered Structure, Inc. secured a building permit for the 29, 294 sq. ft. structure; estimated construction cost $1,300,000. Construction is scheduled to begin in January 2006.
Frontage Rd. is the Road that runs alongside the interstate. The address puts it between Forest Parkway and I-285. (Would exit Forest Parkway and hang a left at Frontage Rd.)
Hope this helps a little
