Another late night venture
Was up in the area on Thursday night and decided to go hunting. BP / CB was dead and so was W / W. Was making my loop around Payson and Ramsay and was about to go home when a familiar face flagged me down. Lo & behold, it was BP Jessie. The last time I had seen her it was right before Thanksgiving when she had a nasty infection in her leg. She says that she spent about 2 weeks in the hospital & was lucky to still have the leg. Pulled over on a nearby street on the way to my spot so she could have her cigarette and chatted for a bit (I don't allow smoking of any kind in my car). Went to the spot and had a subpar CBJ. She's a really nice girl when she's not hopped up on candy. Speaking of candy, as I was cleaning out my car today, I found her latest purchase along with her needle. Would probably not repeat.
As an aside, the chase is beginning to wear thin on me. Over my time in the hobby I have had my fair share of rip-offs and STD scares as well as a lot of fun. I've been lucky to have not caught anything and I don't want to risk running on the wrong side of Lady Luck. I think it's time for me to take a step back. I'll still be checking in here from time to time, but I think my mongering days are done.
Passing is always sad no matter who it is.
One of our favorite host of the Notels is no longer with us. T passed away recently. I stopped by to use the spot and when I was greeted by Destiny at the door, I was like WoW this place is clean. That's when she told me that T passed recently. I felt like I just saw her not long ago and text her. Never know when it's your time. Not sure if the spot will still be a spot but prayers to her family.
Phyuck!
