Not quite how it happened
In your face extra's are gone and it's been that way ever since an underage girl was caught by LEO dancing at the satin doll.
The incident you cite occurred at Cheaters, not the Satin Doll.
The caddy and the satin doll are sister clubs. LEO decided to come down hard on the caddy and the place is totally different.
Actually, I believe that it was Cheater's, Satin Doll, and Desires where dancers were caught giving extras by a combination of LEO and TV news teams. As far as I know, CL never got busted (let me know if I have that wrong).
But it's correct to say that it's not the free-for-all that it used to be for anyone who just walked through the door. Now it requires a bit of work and finesse.
But if you're smart, then options remain available.

Something New Regarding Cheaters
The Board of Licenses 1/12/15 agenda packet is here:
http://providenceri.iqm2.com/Citizens/FileOpen.aspx?Type=1&ID=1614&Inline=True
These are the relevant agenda items:
11. To Appear -- Show Cause Hearing: Alcoholic Beverages Class BV (Full Liquor. Food), Alcoholic Beverages Class BX (2 am Closing), Food Dispenser, Holiday Sales. Cheater's Inc. The / be / a Cheater's, 245 Allens Avenue. Regarding non-use.
12. To Appear -- Advertised Hearing: Transfer License. Alcoholic Beverages Class BV (Full Liquor. Food), Alcoholic Beverages Class BX (2 am Closing), Alcoholic Beverages Class and (Night Club), Entertainment, Food Dispenser, Holiday Sales. Cheaters Inc. To Biscayne Entertainment Inc. 245 Allens Avenue. Continued from January 8, 2015.
While this *could* be promising, I would be wary about breaking open your piggy bank. This could be more about Cheater's lobbying to hold on to their currently-unused liquor license (which would be key to them selling the place), rather than opening anytime soon.
It was last night. Any flies on the wall that happen to post here?
