Where did you get your financial info there nuguy? Sounds like CNN
Actually, I'm surprised no one has publicly connected the dots regarding Donald Trump's obvious down playing of the COVID-19 risks over the last several months.
Trump's net worth (whatever it is) is comprised of a mix of annuity income from branding (allowing the Trump name to be used on a development) and outright ownership of hotels and resorts. The shift towards branding made great sense since virtually every property he owned and operated ended up in default and / or bankruptcy. But his actual holdings are still considerable (think Trump hotels like the one in DC, and his variety of golf courses) and likely form the vast majority of his assets. All of these occupancy- and tourism-dependent properties are entirely dependent on cash flow, with large operating costs and, like restaurants, are only financially viable when operating fairly close to capacity.
There is no question that all of these properties have been hemorrhaging money since March. Whether his cash flow from his branding business is sufficient to keep them afloat is unknown, but highly unlikely since numerous branded properties have ended the relationship during his disastrous tenure as president.
The entire downplaying of the COVID-19 risks is likely pure personal financial panic regarding the mounting losses at these properties and the need to restore tourism and resort traffic.
At some point he will have insufficient cash flow to keep paying his vendors. There is the possibility of some occasional cash advances to tide him over from a friendly oligarch or two, but the banking system is much tighter than it used to be and it would be difficult, if not impossible. To keep this secret.
I expect the shoe (more likely multiple shoes) to drop any day regarding vendor defaults at some of these resorts. It will be a close call whether he can keep this out of the news until Election Day. Whether or not he wins the election, this news will likely start tricking out shortly thereafter.
Like everything else about his presidency, the COVID-19 response is all about Donald. He is ambitious beyond his competence, he is overextended, he is losing money, and he is in trouble. Anyone who has paid attention to his career has seen this movie multiple times before. It's surprising that this it's not more widely recognized.
Same false information that's been out there for 5 years, looks like CNN and NYTimes, with a dash of MSNBC. LOL give me a break 95% of that's been debunked for years.
For someone thats broke as you say, Forbes( definitely not trump friendly) says in 2019 president trump made 691million, and even after the Covid real estate hit, of which the values will go right back up prob by the end of 2021, still has a net worth of 2.5 billion dollars, which is 2500 million dollars, doesn't seem likes he is broke, and not making ANY money does it nuguy? almost 700 million in a year? broke and stupid..... give me a break- go watch more CNN, or read NYtimes, those bastions of integrity and truthful reporting llol.
You can't see everyday its a new Trump revelation. Oh this is IT, THIS one is going to take down Bad Orange Man. But yet he's still there, working everyday, doing shit every administration since JFK has promised and salivated to do the Middle East peace plan, but just couldn't get it done. LOL.
The "bull in a China shop" the "Stupid business man" and 40 other phrases they use, Gets stuff done,
Meanwhile,The bureaucrats whose job depends on never actually getting anything done, but they are the most qualified diplomatic blah blah bla, in 50 years have done less than trump in 4.
how did he do it you ask? he did it by leaving the Palestinians out of the deal, going around them, unlike every other admin before him, thought out of the box, and he and jared cushner got it done.
and of course it won't get any play in the msm. and nobody will take the time to take an honest look at how they did it. and without blood in the sand. or treasure.
history will look very kindly on Mr Trump and Cushner.... and everybody in Washington, that have failed for 50 years to get just this one thing done, will not be nearly as kindly looked upon,.... thats why they are all soooo mad, all of them dems and never trumper repubs.
pissed that he is making them ALL look bad, with NO political experience, shows they are not needed like they think they are, and dont believe it, just ask, they'll tell ou how important they are. yea right.
Clinton offered Yasser Arafat Everything AND the kitchen sink, and they didn't do it because then they could no longer use it for sympathy...
Seems simple to me, Just go around the Palestinians ,but just like the never trumpers, and the inside the beltway insiders, who say their lives work has been to get a Middle East peace plan, Couldn't figure out how to get it done,Thats why they are sooo mad, all of them trump makes them look so petty and stupid.
You may not like how he talks or tweets, but he'll outwork any career politician and gets waaaay more actually done.
Look it up, Hint you won't find it in msm or YouTube.
End of argument.
all that and didn't even do any name calling, what a novel approach
A smoke screen to distract from Trump’s numerous travails and Netanyahu’s trial.....
How the f**k do you have a Middle East peace plan without including Palestinian's?
Good for him for creating a distraction on a day when the numbers of people who are affected and the numbers of people who are dying from this virus only increases. We will have surpassed 200,000 dead from COVID-19 by sunrise today. Anyone remember Trump's supposed historic peace pact with North Korea and where it lies at the moment? Hint, it lies buried on the ash heap of history.

Over half the country doesn't see it that way, thank God
Yea right, did you watch Trump's ABC town hall meeting last night? Hint, It was another self-inflicted disaster for Trump. It was brutal, a clusterfuck, he blew it, big time.
Trump, couldn't answer some of the questions, he tried to adlib or BS his way on some of the answers. Down Play was Up play, Black was White, left is right, dark is light, yes is no. And trump was called out. I cant wait to see how he handles the Presidential debates coming in two weeks.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=5LLZXWH9vDY&t=246s
You do realize not everyone sees shit the same way you do. Who says your views hold any water at all? You? LOL.
you know ABC news and Clinton George had a hand in writing those questions, most working Americans dont give a shit about all that "narrative stuff" thats a Washington msm thing the think resonates with dems.
Good grief, like talking to a brick wall.
Can't wait till Nov.
Then at least maybe we'll make it to New Years before " another impeachable phone call leak comes" or the next whatever get trump story of the day comes.
Just pray to God above that the people don't give the democrats any power at all, just maybe can get more done without shifty Schiff running interference.
