I understand how you feel, we all know what she is like sober and any friend would wish and hope for exactly what you've written, what I think is not understood is this; she has an addiction, I have an addiction, this addiction is a disease that like some forms of cancer is incurable, the only way to treat this disease is total cessation of your drug of choice.
