He made the news again for being arrested on assault charges for choking his wife.

April 2, 2012 Kelly J. Yount pleaded guilty to an aggravated assault charge in which he choked his wife and threatened to kill her. If Yount follows the terms of his three-year supervised probationary sentence (He must pay at least $100 a month for court costs and have no contact with the victim) he can possibly get the felony conviction expunged.
