The "darker side" are ambitious workers who see how things work and buy a spa for themselves when they have earned enough cash. There is no "darker side". You postings are just weird. You know nothing about the way the spas work.

It had probably been since the last century that I had been at Ocean (it was McKinley then) and couldn't have been more surprised (positively) at the makeover the place has gotten. Really large, high quality, modern shower facility and large, well-appointed rooms with oversized beds and other good quality touches (including heated towels dispenser right in the room).

Mamasan Jenny is really nice and friendly. Working there now is Sophia and one other girl, who I didn't meet.

Sophia has always been at the top of the GFE providers in Warren, better in my estimation than the exalted Lisa of 4S. I'm happy to report that this hasn't changed, though she is looking just a touch older in the face (my guess is somewhere in the 40's). But she still has the same great personality; she is 110% focused on you, you, you. From the TS to the gymnastics back in the room.

I had the best TS in my life there. Took over an hour with both Sophia and Jenny working at different times. They did a complete exfoliation and then a multi-part follow-on scrub down. The shampoo with scalp massage was bliss. I can legitimately say I emerged from that as the unqualified cleanest man in the state of Ohio.

Then in the room Jenny worked on my back with a fantastic, well skilled walk, as Sophia quickly took care of another customer. That was so relaxing I fell asleep for a bit. Sophia then arrived and we reacquainted ourselves. I've been a longstanding customer and it is great to see her back. For those that don't know her, she is incredibly skilled and profoundly enjoys everything on the menu. There was absolutely no time pressure and overall I was there for over 3 hours, and was encouraged to stay longer but I had another appt I was now late for.

I haven't seen reviews here on Ocean in a long time. I would urge others who have a bad impression of the place from an earlier experience to give this new version of Ocean a try. I think you will be really impressed with the new decor, the new management, and particularly the Sophia experience. Unparalleled.

Still imo it would be wise to be alert to the possibility of future raids and or crackdowns.

Nana has already left us. No word on when Jun will be back, maybe the spa patrol knows more.

I asked the little old mamasan if I could see Nana. She said yes but when she came back with my membership card she said Nana is busy. I asked how busy and she said "very busy, long wait" so I asked for Bobbie. Things didn't seem right because there were only 2 vehicles in the lot when I got there and one for sure was one of the mamasan's. Bobbie was great, one of the nicest AMP girls I've ever met, I'm glad I asked for her. Now things got even more confusing when she said I was the first customer of the day. Why couldn't they just say that Nana wasn't there anymore? Bobbie said the new place is supposed to be ready sometime near the end of this month, right across the street.

Well, I just got back from Ocean Spa and had a great reunion with my old friend Sophia. Yes, it is the Sophia that worked at Sun Spa and 4S. She was in great form. Looks really great. It was a true PSE better than Lisa. I mean those you who moarn about Lisa being up in MI should stop by and see her. She does everything. Still changes outfits between each part of the process. After she got me back from the shower to the room and then went out again to prep, she came back wearing a version of a French maid outfit with stockings. OMG. I forgot how good her oral skills were. She's very influent in French. She got very deep into the conversation. Of course she lets you know what she likes and how she likes that. Glad I was the only there because I know our conversation got really vocal at one point. So, yes, I was a fan once of Lisa and have always appreciated Sophia but after today she has moved into the number 1 position of best PSE. I know I've been really down on Ocean but I really think there are better things coming on the Eastside that's going to give the Westside a run for their money.

Oh, and Jay is still at SUN. It's Nana who has gone. Jay is also my little treasure as well.

Went to Sun Saturday afternoon, was paired up with Ruby. I have heard the less than stellar reports about her, but I was very happy. I understand what people have said, and she does not provide quite the enthusiasm of a Bobbie or Coco. But I think Sun worshippers are a little spoiled. If you ran into Ruby at Tokyo or Four Seasons, you would be raving about how great she was, and that she was better than anyone other than the line-up at Sun. She has a pretty face, and a phenomenal body. To my eye, the boobs looked totally fake. But to the touch, it's either the best surgical job ever, or they're just perfect and real. But it was a very satisfying session, and I would not hesitate to see Ruby again.
