It's not just the block. I read a couple of places that for many cities NFL attendance is down and people said stuff like it's easier and nicer to stay home and watch it on TV. When the local strip club was the only place you could get racy entertainment they had almost a monopoly. But like the mall took a hit from Amazon, places like the block are taking hits from the internet too.

It's a shame. It was always fun. I had friends from DC who thought even in the '80's that the block was too seedy for them. I told them that's why I liked it. I remember when it stretched further and there was a nice little block on Howard street with 3 or 4 nice bars. But back then a home video porn movie was $80-$100. Strip clubs were a bargain and they were the only game in town for naked stuff. On a good Saturday night it looked like plenty of bar districts with lots of people out and going place to place, all lit up and busy.

Anyway I don't think we really have any good places like the old days. I am not trying to be one of those guys who say the old days were better because there's a lot of good stuff in this regard during the new days but for the block or places like it I think the best days are long gone, around here anyway, unless there is some kind of revival where it becomes cool again or something.[/QUOTE]You have hit the nail on the head! Been hitting the escape club on 40 for a few months now. Cool place good food. Topless only and at least 5-10 pretty young girls dancing starting right at noon daily. A beer and cheesesteak for $10. No harassment from the girls. Drinks for dancers $5-$10. Relaxed and non rushed. I got the word that some of the girls do take out. No outward signs of drug abuse. They don't freak out if you ask them. They have a nice VIP area but never tried it. You can have a nice time, beer and lap dance for $50-$60 bucks. Perfect for a nice chill afternoon or evening. Ask for Summer. She'll point you in the right direction. Hotel rooms next door for $50.

When I am in a more confessional mood I may share some stories but at this point they are kind of irrelevant and would probably sound just like some old guy spinning tales of the good old days. I wasn't an old guy then but 17 years adds up.

The bad news of the old days though was the state of this site. I forgot when Jackson took over and log ins were available but I remember this site from back when you had to send an e-mail to the site and the site owner would post the report. That's one way that the new days are way way better than the old days. Back in those days, newspaper reports were the best way to find out about which bars had problems with po po and which streets had SWs. I remember reading various local and neighborhood level papers, back when it was only on paper, looking for SW arrests and block raids. Sure way to find out what's what. The other place to find good leads was the want ads. Certain papers in certain neighborhoods would always had want ads by the clubs, another way to get some info. This site is like 10,000 x better.

I hope the block comes back or something replaces it. It was great. Like a shopping district or something. There was always some kind of fun to be had.

First time posting long time follower. Hopefully I can get some advice / provide some info.

The Millstream is always packed with decent talent. The bartenders aren't pushy as they used to be. Met this smoking hot MILF Latina. Don't remember her name. She was all talk and no action in the $180 room. Sold me a dream. I have a thing for Latina women. Only time I've gotten any extras was back in September with this tiny caramel skin chic with small tits and a round ass. Circus has always been hit or miss with me. I'm always on the lookout for thick / phat booty girls. Doesn't matter the race. Circus never has that. Not into fit / slim girls.

Jewel Box used to be my go to. They fell off. Felt like the bartender Joe was trying to get over on me. There was a fine brunette in there over the summer that missed out on serious cash.

Red Room was overrated based on reviews here. A few of the girls looked underaged. I bounced after seeing one dance.

I really miss Little Darlings.

Chez Joey has been my savior the last year or so. The blonde bartender with the big ass went to a room with me. Took the $170 plus another $$ just for touching. It was steep but I had to feel that ass. Good gracious gentlemen, it was life changing. Colleen was my first VIP girl there. Was worth the extra $$. Haven't been able to locate her since. Will be heading back soon.

Yeah Little Darlings was a lot of fun and had great looking dancers who would provide extras for a fair price, I did not get over there as much as I should have, they were high class like Hustler but much more fun like the seedier block clubs, they had a great balance in my book.

LD was good, but very hit and miss -- back in the day, Hustler could give really sexy dances, though no extras, and great ladies.

Now? My 2 cents:

Chez Joey usually has a few lookers, but is hardest hustle on the block -- constant, and more chances for attitude if you sY no.

Circus, as noted below, very inconsistent. No real lap dance area (bench in back with lights dimmed), which is annoying.

If Rob is working as bartender, Red Room is worth checking, but only after 10 on weekends. He used to bring in a lot of dancers, but lately seems to have given up.

Harem -- there are usually some decent looking Hispanic girls, though they tend to goof off with each rather than circulate.

Hustler -- later night, on weekends -- often ok eye candy, and many fun to talk to, but tame laps -- VIP rooms are NOT worth it.

Overall, the riots, drugs, and willingness to allow thugs to roam streets really has ended block; just waiting for non-adult company to buy out before it's officially RIP.

Sat down and ordered a water (stopped drinking). Girl named Kitty sits at my table after her dance. Platters ass I'd seen in a while. Convinced me for a 15 minute room. I managed to negotiate extras. Expecting a BBBJ and got a HJ. $ down the drain. I had to pay attention and get hip quick.

I started back in 2014 going to strip clubs, kept going to the clubs until 2017 began and I found I got my money's worth more with escorts. It was fun amd all but after all the rules changed for the worst, Little Darlings shutting down, and less good looking dancers I kinda called it quits.

There were times when I would go 4 times a week, now it is more like 4 times a year. Through the 1990's a HJ was widely available for $20 plus a $20 drink while sitting at the least obvious part of the bar (most bars had that). Each bar usually had at least 1 or 2 decent looking girls. The girls didn't want to work their full shift, so early in her shift you could sometimes get carry out 10 minutes after you meet. You would leave the bar alone and she would follow 10 minutes later, didn't pay a bar fine at all.

IMHO, the block was never great. It gets a little worse every year. The "dancers" have almost exclusively been addicts for many years, but they didn't used to be as unattractive and nasty as they are now.

Seems like the block has been dying a slow death over the years, I wonder if take out is still an option for some of the better looking dancers, will be in the city for a few days soon.

Hit up Fantasies last night to see Kayden Kross. Place was packed but somehow pulled a dance from her for $40. She's here for one more night and definitely worth checking out.

Went to the block tonight. Didn't fuck around with any of the other clubs and went straight to RR. Had a few train wrecks but some decent looking girls as well. Wound up buying 2 drinks for 1 girl.
