Do you hit the AMPs with a wingman? If so, just wondering if you can work a better overall rate. I have never tried that before.
Since we have so many LEOs on this forum, let me pose a serious question. Is there any other profession, health or otherwise, in which the police get involved in licensure enforcement?
Just so everyone here knows (as if you don't already) how utterly ridiculous Florida laws are in this area let me cite the Florida Statues with respect to the unlicensed practice of massage and for comparison, nursing.
Massage:
480.047 Penalties.--
(1) It is unlawful for any person to:
(a) Hold himself or herself out as a massage therapist or to practice massage unless duly licensed under this chapter or unless otherwise specifically exempted from licensure under this chapter.
2) Any person violating the provisions of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.
Nursing:
464.016 Violations and penalties.--
2) Each of the following acts constitutes a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083:
(a) Using the name or title "Nurse," "Registered Nurse," "Licensed Practical Nurse," "Clinical Nurse Specialist," "Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist," "Certified Nurse Midwife," "Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner," or any other name or title which implies that a person was licensed or certified as same, unless such person is duly licensed or certified.

If I am caught sucking on titties (e.g. "nursing") while getting a massage from an unlicensed massage therapist, Is she guilty of
(a) the unlicensed practice of massage (since she is massaging me w/o a license --- or ---
(b) the unlicensed practice of nursing (since I am "nursing" on her titty).
And the follow up
Arresting a 40 year old Korean girl doing this behind closed doors in a discrete location contributes to the mission of fighting crime and improving public safety in what way?
Any LEO lurking here would do better by tipping us off whenever Krispy Kreme is having a sale. That is about the extent of their usefulness in the community.

i agree totally with all the sentiments against le. busting seemingly innocuous practises whilst gunmen are out shooting people up cannot be right. sure, **** girls and all that stuff needs to be stamped out but the recent 40 yr old issue was hardly under age lol.
i'm not sure how you make changes to that kind of thing in the us but there must be some way that you americans can get the law changed. in england they march in the streets and take the issue up with their member of parliament. it does not always work but at least you can have a sensible protest and if it does work, law makers have seen sense. not sure what the process would be in florida but, as the "country of the free" (no sarcasim intended) surely there must be a way to make your feelings known?
guess it would have to be anonoymous though as you wouldn't really want your pic on the front of the orlando sentinel as the leader of the "revolt" given the nature of the beast lol. maybe that's the problem and the lawmakers know that - you can't complain as you will be identified and then you are guilty....

Positive: Becky (possibly the best massage artist around); TS in massage room; great TS.
Negative: Small place; Unreliable hours (definitely call ahead)
Runner Up: This place I recommend but is not a top location
International Therapies - Maitland (US 17/92 just North of Maitland Road - very close to former Thurstons Auto)
Positive: Clean; Large; Good TS; Reliable service
Negative: No choice in therapists (hit or miss with the ugly stick); Reverse peep holes (looking into the rooms); constantly rotating girls

I once had a candid discussion with a young LEO. I learned a lot about the LEO mentality. He told me that the goal is to join the force young, stay out of harm's way, retire young (40s) get another job (maybe doing security) for another 20 years and retire collect two pensions and social security. Many LEOs have older family members who also were LEOs so this mentality is passed down from generation to generation.
The key is to stay out of harm's way. That is why you find LE all over OBT but not in Pine Hills. That is why they are busting 50 year-old Korean women for the unlicensed practice of massage instead of drug dealers, rapists and murderers.
Everyone also has to keep in mind, other than looking out for their own asses and retirement (which they have down to a science) LEOs are not very smart. We absolutely do not need more police. We need more effective police. Pay them more and hire smarter people. Then prioritize.

You always do a great job with your reviews. I had not heard about "reverse peep holes" in an AMP before. But if some of the therapists may have been beaten with the ugly stick perhaps not a bad thing - LOL.

When I say illegally, I mean illegally here in the country.
Most AMP don't have this problem that I am aware of anymore. This was commonplace a few years back. It was common back in 05/06 to have a therapist in some locations that did not even speak english. Since the series of bust about a year and a half ago, you just don't see that anymore. AMP have wised up and realized that if the therapist have their green cards and massage license, the chances or getting harassed by LEO goes down significantly.

More focused policework directed at REAL CRIME would benefit the community. For this you don't need more policemen, just smarter ones.

To think all LEO is stupid is not very bright. Like all jobs, they have their good and bad ones. Each individual cop is not allowed to decide what they are going to do that day. Their agenda is directed from LEO's top brass, which is ultimately directed by community "standards".
The community "standards" are set by conservative loud mouths that put pressure on the police through politicians. They bust massage palors, OBT SW's and even internet escorts because the LEO honchos are given budget money for their vice department and it is stressed over other crimes, because the news media love these stories, the politicians get votes and pats on the back, and utimately, the cops are told good job.
The religious right and conservatives are vocal and not afraid to organize against prostitution. They let let the politicians know how they feel about these MP's and SW's. It is the opposite for hobbyists. Because of community condemnation, we are forced to hide in the shadows (like these boards) and remain virtually invisible. A politician is not going to come out for prostitution, because they feel it would cost them their job. There is no hobbyist lobby to put pressure politically where it needs to be.
You can think all LEO is a bunch of dummies if you want to, but I am never going to underestimate my opponent.

That place called World therapies is likely one of them.
About two months ago they did a big clean up in California on acupuncture massage fronts. I think it was Vista in San Diego. Closed I think 11 places and arrested 25 or more women. World therapies is an Acupuncture front, Series of arrest, and the women living on the premise. Racy advertisements and the services to back it up, this place is trouble. At places like this there always at least one or two unlicensed. Illegal worker can mean she has some permit to be here in the states for whatever reason (education visa, work visa, etc. Not a greencard) but if she makes a mistake she can loose her privileges and get deported.
Its damn nice to be back in Orlando. I've been 3 months in the desert of Sierra Vista AZ, talk about a dry town. Theres only one strippity club in the area and I nearly fell asleep there.
Anyway looks like a new MP, is opening up on the East Side I saw it this morning as I was driving to the office. On 50 past Alafaya up toward Burlington Coat Factory. I'm stopping on my way back home to check it out.
Not sure how long its been open, definately wasnt there before I left on business.
Anyone have info on it let me know. There was no name on the building.

Had a chat a couple years ago with a therapist (not in Orlando)...It had cost her $30,000 to be "brought" into the US from Korea. She paid it back by working in an AMP. All monies were given to Mama or Papasan who then deducted her food and "rent" expenses. Bottomline it was going to take her several years to pay back the debt. Don't know how many girls this would apply to today, but it is basically slavery until debt is paid. I certainly would not want to contribute to such practices. Fortunately most girls I have seen in the Orlando area do not appear to be involved in such circumstances. If a girl lives in the establishment and always appears to be depressed or exhausted I would be suspect. They wear her down ... then move her... and hopefully for them keep her indebted to them. Like I said...just my 2 cents. When a therapist appears to enjoy her work and pleasing her client, she is probably not involved in the trade. It is sometimes interesting to ask a girl her situation once you have gotten to know them. Lots can be learned from them.

Some time ago a career DC cop told me "If they had any brains they wouldn't be cops in the first place." On the other hand, I have personally known a few very nice, very intelligent cops, so it's hard to generalize, but you make a very good point: Don't ever underestimate your opponent.
