LE's biggest weapon is their scare tactics, and for most people that's enough. I'm not anti-authority or trying to prove to anyone that I have the right to be somewhere, but I certainly don't stand in a parking lot all night like all the Mexicans and loiter. Cops never seem to bother them. I park in discreet, out of sight places and mind my own fucking business; if that's a problem in SNA, then they should try to rewrite the fucking constitution. And BTW. The few times I have been pulled over in SNA, the officers have always been pleasant and respectful as I had been to them. I'm the type of guy that if pulled over. He did say that they usually come when a girl gets killed, or a lot of girls are getting assaulted by the same guy in the same make of car or truck or if a girl is reported missing! If you go into spanky's they have all there surveillance tv above the register! 1 of the cameras is recording the sidewalk on the front and another records the street and across it right by the bk! My experience with the police is to try and pass the attitude test. Roll down the window, throw my keys on the dash, keep my hands on the steering wheel and say yes officer and no officer. Be poite, they don't know anything about you. You could have killed your wife and have the body in the trunk for all they know. Always tell them what you are going to do before you do it. Unless you have committed a felony it is usually better to be honest. For the most part, they don't want the paperwork for bullshit petty things anyway. Each encounter should be taken as it comes and thought through carefully. I have noticed more LE lately. And guys, carry a plastic trash bag and put your condom wrapers, used condoms and tissues in the bag and not in the street and don't let the girls do it either. All you do is attract attention to the hobby and ruin a good spot for fun.

The video cams are those of the local businesses; they are merely security cams. They were not put there by LE. Now, if a robbery took place and one of the many cameras in the area might have witnessed the crime and/or the perp, then yes, they'd be very useful. But, to simply monitor which vehicles seem to be on the track more than others = ridiculous!

If SNA had an anti-cruising law, that might change my habits out there. Hell, I can tell you years, makes, and models of 95% of the mongers out there as I see the same vehicles night after night. Most of the patrol guys probably could too, but I've never gotten so much of a hard look from anybody out there.

And one last thing to add to my response to ocbarbarian; Even if that guy was Leo, he may or may not read this site; doesn't matter either way. Plus, how many other guys might have parked next to him and he gave the same lecture? Doubtful he went home and gave me a second thought. The same way he can't do anything to me for getting something to eat is the same way that I can't really file a complaint for him simply being a jerk.

Again, there's no reason to question me, I haven't done anything wrong. 90% of the girls out there these days are the same anyways, so I usually just chill, listen to the radio, be a good samaritan and buy some food for those that are hungry, then I go home and sleep like a baby.
