I just finished spending 11 nights in the Dominican Republic and other than having a nasty cold the last 4 days, it was a great trip. Here is a brief rundown of my vacation.

First, some basics. Flying time from Indy is about 4. 5 hours, 1 hour to Atlanta, 3. 5 hours from Atlanta to Santo Domingo, and costs about $550. There are many flight options depending on your destination. Exchange rate is about 44 pesos per dollar, or 1000 pesos is about $22.50.

Prostitution is legal in the DR, with anyone 18 and older, put pimping or promoting prostitution is illegal. At 18 residents are issued an I'd called a Cedulla. Women are readily available almost anywhere in the country, and the price is usually very reasonable. Families are often very welcoming to a tourist who shows an interest in their daughter. I had an 18 year old girl, who I had only chatted with online tell me I could stay with her at her parents house. I declined, but it was interesting that parents would welcome someone older than them into their home to screw their daughter.

Depending on your preference their are many options, the first one is Sosua, a small beach town on the north coast. I spent 6 days there and I never left my hotel room without receiving at least one offer. At night there are a couple of clubs where the women outnumber men by about 4 to 1, that's not counting all the women on the street outside. The standard rate for 1 to 2 hours is 1500 to 2000 pesos, for all night cost is 3000 to 4000 pesos.

The girls come in all shapes and sizes, from tiny little spinners to BBWs. About the only thing you will have trouble finding is a natural blonde or redhead.

There are several places in Sosua offering massage, 600 pesos for an hour, and the massage is quite good. The happy ending is a bit expensive, 1000 pesos and YMMV. I had 2 massages, spent the same on each. One I got BBBJ CIM and the other was simply a standard finish.

The other place you might want to try is Blackbeard's Resort. It's a fairly standard hotel, rooms are about $70 with tax. There is a bar and restaurant by the pool and a disco that's open on the weekend. Around the pool are several girls available for your pleasure, cost is 1800 pesos for a session, or 3300 pesos for all night. Another option is to take 1 or more girls to the jacuzzi for 500 pesos each. Other than your room, the jacuzzi is the only other place you can get naked at the resort, and it's a good place to give a girl a test drive before deciding to take her to the room.

Depending on your appetite and stamina it can get expensive. My first day there, I took 2 different girls to the room and then took 2 girls to the jacuzzi for tag team BBBJs. About $105, it's probably a good thing I was feeling lousy with a cold.

Hotel rooms tend to be cheap, it's easy to find a good one for less than $50.

I highly recommend a trip. Including airfare, I spent about $2200 for 11 nights.

There has been a lot of talk recently about the HIV outbreak in Scott and Jackson counties in southern Indiana. This is coming from shared needles thus the needle exchange. When you arrive and give them the donation they make a call to a friend stating they need a 40,60 or 80 in about an hour (dope is sold in series of 20's because it's the most common currency besides the dollar). Not all "H" addicts mainline. Some smoke, some snort, some ingest.

So because of recent issues in Hoosier State you need to be smart. Play safe fellow mongers and remember it's your choice.

All kidding aside, FF has hit on numerous important, and truly scary points that should cause all of us to be thoughtful and reflective in how we play. I would say I have noticed what appears to be a lack of respect for health and safety being at a much higher level in the past. I have thought it was somewhat related to the higher number of part-timers providing, not the more professional type of escorts who were and are for the most part much more stringent in keeping with the "rules". That attention to detail was good for their sake and ours, for the benefit of controlling health, disease and even basic hygiene. There has always been plenty of freewheeling, but the higher end, professional type of providers, did and do tend to be much more conscious of the issues.
