Cameras' recording devices etc.
I have been to a few spas and try to identify the camera's and recorders they use. I have seen DwMax Flex type recorders with 8 to 12 cameras and have seen some with smaller setups (like the ones from Costco / Harbor Freight etc.). A majority of them are DIY jobs and not much effort has been made to conceal wiring (without). Some are wireless too but those are too few. The reason I got into it and studying them is because I have a side business and do this kind of work time to time.
Stay safe.

Camera Surveilance at AMPs
Seems we have a lot of chatter on here about cameras at the AMP's. Here is my. 02 cents on the subject.
The spa owners and providers that work there have much more to lose than any kind of customer coming in to patronize the goods and services.
The owner likely has to pay rent on a 5-10 year lease, along with a business license, the marketing, and everything else that comes along with maintaining a solid business model. They also need to offer their staff some sense of security to know that they will be working in a place that has their back if something wrong should happen by a crazy client. Think in the girl provider's shoes. Would you do something like what they do, if you were a non-established visitor to work for a short period, and not have some level of security in place?
These ladies have their own lives and something to protect upon their own world too. A petite Mandarin girl likely has little power to defend themselves if bad situation were to occur; especially as they know that some extras may be offered with a higher risk to their status of working honorably. They are constantly approached by men, usually always much larger and stronger than they are, and as most mindful humanitarian men know, women need a sense of security to feel comfortable with just about any kind of personal level activities.
I'm a business owner myself, though certainly not owning a spa. If I did, I would want to protect my $ generating staff, just as I would with the Workman's Comp and safety gear I provide for the operations that is upon my business model.
Aside from some opinions here on recent posts, the cameras are there for protecting their own operation; in many more ways than one.
Nobody gives a tick's turd about who came and went. Unless there was a problem.
I doubt anyone here on this site would be one of those involved upon creating an issue, as we want the goods to continue; thus we share to each other.
Should a random crazy guy / gal enter and do something really stupid, you fill in the blanks, then the biz owner will have something on record to deal with that isolated situation. As its a grey area for the transactions, there is little anyone can do for civil case on a rip off. Yet just as casinos have facial recognition systems, they could have a log of those that caused problems. As a PG rated version. Consider one that wanted all their money back for the house fee because the shower water didn't get hot enough. Bad customer now. Maybe offer the refund though save the photo for a "do not service" file in the future for down the road. Just like counting cards upon blackjack is not illegal, but they can ask you not to return again at their sole discretion.
If a super rare LEO situation were to happen, their is a burden of proof to behold that all acts were legal for a massage. Definitely only pay in cash, if this situation is a concern. Above that, it would be even more rare to have digital files investigated, unless it was possibly a trafficking thing with minors, or some BS like that. I doubt a storefront business owner would take a risk on anything related to a Fed investigation. Bottom line is that the place just want's to make money and stay in business within a model of safety.
As advice for the germaphobes, or camera phobes, just wear a mask upon entry if this twitches your undies too much.
Otherwise,
Realize that these kind of records are best meant to be deleted after the period "no issue" by the biz owner.
As an added note, I figure we will see more talent taking care of us, if they feel safe doing so.
