First, I RTFF in some detail, and the 'stroll tour' I put together was as follows: east on 79th St. To Biscayne / US1, south all the way to Flagler, West on Flagler to SW 27th Ave, and back north up the 79th. I also added a run up to NW 27th and 103rd based on some prior posts. That's a lot of driving, I don't mind telling you, but I suppose it's a case of 'welcome to the big city'. I plied this route a couple of different evenings, and at various times, and for my money, 79th had the best action by far. Perhaps I had my route laid out incorrectly, and I would appreciate any corrections or suggestions from you fellow punters. I'm sure there are other hot spots further south and west (?) in the greater Miami area. But other than a couple of morbidly obese creatures with full sleeve tats at 27th NW Ave and about 8th, all else on the route I mapped out was dead. That big chicken on the south side of Flagler about 11th Ave sure drew my attention as well.

LEO presence was indeed heavy on 79th, but it didn't deter me from scooping a chunky 'red bone' there one night, though nothing special to report. I might also add that while the Hacienda may be the best, cleanest option if you are intent on staying near ground zero on 79th, it may be a little too 'colorful' for the more inexperienced. I shared the parking lot with a lot of late-night gang bangers and what appeared to be a whole car-load of He-she's plying their trade in the rooms. 'Welcome to the big city! I've been mongering for over 20 years before I stumbled on this wonderful site just a little over a year ago. (Wish I'd found the 22 rules a while back, would have saved me a whole lot of grief!) I've tried to make up for lost time by posting, with what I hope others find to be useful information on a variety of locations as my travels provide me an opportunity to sample the 'local culture', if you will.
