I'm just as furious about the news on Christina as the rest of you. Seems strange since my last post a few days ago had requested that everyone be nice to her. While I would feel bad at reading that any SW got attacked, I feel particularly bad for Christina. She had been nicer to me than many of my past girlfriends!

I will take some positive credit here. After I was with Christina on Thursday, I went to my computer to write my report, and when I scrolled through the last few pages, I became worried at the large amount of info on Christina, especially the photo of her. So I sent a PM to Outworlder (he was the poster who had posted her photo) and asked him to remove her photo from WSG. He agreed with me and the photo was removed by Friday afternoon, but obviously it was already too late.

I certainly hope that they catch both of the a-holes who did this to her, and lock them up for a long time. Meanwhile, we should probably be discreet as to what we post on WSG, and share the details only by PM (and even then be careful).

When so exact detail is seen here including a pic it makes it easier for a sicko to act.I pm d a poster 3 times asking him to edit a paticular post that gave to many details of Christina and the place she took guys to. He never edited the posts. Then the pic from a different poster. Before I left Jan 8 I had received some strange PM from guys who didnt post much here looking for details on her. I gave none. One 3 post guy here actually gave her location last week as though he knew her.
Earlier last week a guy tried to rape her in Hartford. She ran from him before he could hurt her.Sat no such luck. A different guy raped her.She does not know either of them nor had she ever been with them.What scares her is that he said I saw your pic on the net.Also last week she was told by a date that he saw her pic an description on net.This guy PM me an told me she was concerned to learn this.Sunday was a completly different type scene. He inticed her to break her own rule about going far from Hartford with a promise of two rewards that I wont repeat here.Those rewards were more than enough to make her go. She thought it was two hours of sex in exchange.This was dungeon type sicko that held her.He had his own bondage an s an m room.She wanted to leave as soon as she saw it. Shook up she is.Will she quit the street? I dont think so. Just be more selective.

I was also with Christinas friend Kim last week on Thursday. She is a good provider and nice girl for 19 yrs old. If you guys see this little sweetheart treat her nice!

This is some f'd up shit. I can't begin to describe the rage I feel about this shit. Yet...the truth is...it happens every day in these girls lives.

Even the other day, someone posted about banging some chick who was pretty beat up already about the face. It pains me, yet, thats the dark side of this hobby.

For some of us...its some fun, some break from reality and then a quick hop back home to a warm bed, and perhaps family that love us.

Careful out there guys things seem to be heating up in CT. First Stamford reports a bust and now Berlin. Let's hope this is all due to the incident that occurred in October per the report below. This occurred January 15th.

BERLIN -- A local massage parlor is accused of offering patrons more than just a back rub.

Police said Tuesday that Sun Acupressure on Farmington Avenue was a front for prostitution and that both the owner and an employee had been arrested. The business was closed Tuesday.

The business owner, XXXX, was charged after a "masseuse" offered an undercover police officer sex in exchange for money.

"It was a lengthy investigation stemming fron an incident in October," police received tips and complaints about the business from people in the community.

Berlin police and the Connecticut State Police conducted the investigation.

A Sun Acupressure customer tried visiting the establishment Tuesday afternoon, only to find its doors locked and blinds drawn. He declined to comment.

An "Under Construction" sign was posted on the front door.

Some business owners in the area said they didn't notice anything unusual happening at Sun Acupressure. However, there was talk about what happened behind its doors.

After hearing the news, I can't help but think if it was my previous post that might have contributed to this tragedy. I have not been on this scene long enough, but I am sure she is a true treasure, and it just sickens my stomach to hear of things like this. And these guys, they're nothing but a bunch of p*ss*** that prey on helpless girls and take advantage of them. I am sure there is justice in life, and they will soon pay for their actions/crimes.

Well I saw Christina bright and early this morning. First of all let me say she is okay!! I had a long conversation with her about the events that occurred this weekend and got the first hand story. The info is a bit different than previously posted here. Anyone who wants more info please PM me. Her only request at this point is that she stop being a topic of conversation here. I will elaborate a bit more later today.

Eight SW arrested Fri night on Ashley St. One was a guy dressed as a girl. Targets were SW not patrons.

Posting information on the guy who assualted her on this board will accomplish nothing. Unless a monger is going to his house to beat him up (please do NOT consider this) there will be no action. Even if a member of the Hartford Police actively reads this particular board in hopes of catching providers, he could not make an arrest based on a post.

Its really quite a simple matter, if Christina does not go to the cops and file a criminal complaint, nothing can happen. The only time a cop can arrest someone for a crime without a complaining witness is if he WITNESSES the crime. Even an outright confession is not enough to sustain an arrest without a complaint. If I post a message on here saying I punched Stoner in the nose (for example of course) police could do nothing unless Stoner filed a complaint. This is why postings by each of us detailing illegal activities such as prostitution never result in us being arrested. Cops can easily find out who "Luvdozer" really is, but no arrest can result unless there is a complaint OR they witness the crime.

The reason that Christina should expect cooperation from the police is the relative seriousness of the two crimes. She is used to being hassled by the cops for prostitution and they certainly try to reduce or eliminate the practice. But rape and assault and infinitely more serious. A reported rape gets counted in the cities crime statistics, so there is incentive to investigate the complaint and make an arrest if possible. Police detectives tend to be rather pragmatic about the whole thing - if they have to choose between rapists running around unpunished because prostitutes are deep underground versus a violent predator being put in jail because they ignore a single instance of prostitution, they will choose the latter.

For those in touch with her - please note that these are GENERAL comments. I have no experience with Hartford PD. Police departments can be all over the place with this stuff. Her best bet is to contact a rape crisis center. These places specialize in guiding women through the process. If Hartford PD is particularly good or bad, they will know for sure. Finally, she should know that she has missed her best opportunity to get the guy since she did not go to an ER for treatment and have a rape kit done. This doesnt make prosecution impossible, just somewhat more difficult.

Not to make light of this incident in any manner but a rape kit! No offense but with the profession of this woman that may only narrow the suspect down to a handfull of people or so.

By the way Amanda has been pinched by LE and is now in jail for an extended period of time. Please be careful out there!

Even if a woman has sex with 10 guys in one evening, a properly done rape kit can still prove if a given person is one of the those 10. The injuries and testimony of the victim can take care of the rest.

The point you make is exactly why most SWs never report rapes - they assume no one will beleive them. It is also why rapists routinely prey on SWs, especially when they begin assualting women - they know there is a certain amount of safety in assuaulting this group.

If more SWs were brave enough to come forward, seek treatment at ERs, and file charges; and if more police departments and DAs understood that rapists are rapists and a danger to all women, then SW would be a much safer activity.

This is a first for me! I have been a long time reader and have become increasingly disturbed by the amount of detail on the ladies. Especially Christina! I have seen her on several occasions and find her to be a very nice person.

Please! We don’t know who reads what is written here and if we are not careful we can add to the danger these young ladies live with everyday!

I myself have always tried to treat them with respect and would hope we all would but apparently this is not always true.

Thanks for your report on the Sun Accupressure Spa in Berlin. I've been out of town since last Monday and had not heard that news before now.

From my experience, Sun has always been a HJ-only place ever since they opened (please refer to numerous posts in the "CT - Other Areas" board here on WSG). Although I've been a regular there since the very first day that they opened, I've never been able to get more than a HJ (or a "Russian" in two instances), and they clearly know me well there and know that I'm not a cop. So either they have suddenly changed their MO or else the Berlin police are willing to prosecute even for HJ-only.

Hard to believe that neighboring businesses were complaining, since this place is very discreet. Maybe it's just that Berlin is one of those towns that won't tolerate MPs or AMPs, although that's strange since there's a strip bar (Infrared, formerly Showgirls) around the corner from Sun Accupressure.

The story also makes me think that the arresting officer must have been a patron more than once, to build up some trust from the girls. Sounds a bit like entrapment to me.

Yes I was disturbed too for what happen with a nice girl like Christina, so much details about these girls. RIP and tribute for Monique Brown

I was shocked to read in this morning's Courant that (Maishaun) Monique Brown died at the age of 37, much too young.

Some of you older mongers may remember her from when she was running around on the streets in the 80s and early 90s. I first met Monique in the summer of 1983 when she was dancing and hanging out at the Trios club on the corner of Park and Washington (same building as Marty's Adult World and another MP in the back). She was only 16 but looked older, with a well-endowed figure and a face identical to the black girl in the Michael Jackson "Thriller" video.

She was a very sweet but confused girl who got screwed up by drugs. She wasn't happy with her lifestyle and always wanted to straighten out her life, but drug addiction is strong and it wasn't easy. Several of her friends (including me) tried to help her, but again it was not easy.

Eventually she cleaned up her act in the mid 1990's. I last heard from her in 1998 when she let me know that she had finally gotten her life together.

I realize that WSG may not be the best forum for this tribute, but reading about Monique's death (and the recent attacks on Christina) reminded me that behind the faces of the ladies we see on the streets are real people, many of whom are good people who just happen to be in a bad place in their lives and who deserve our friendship and respect. And this may be the only place where anyone writes something nice about Monique; the Courant obituary said very little.

That's a good reminder for people who cruise. It is all about cash for the ladies. I have met up with Christina a few times and have always had a good time. Yes I agree, that was truly a heartfelt tribute Spearsman, and personally it gave me chills reading it. I certainly never knew Monique, but she was just about the same age as I am, so it really affected me. I don't normally post here in the Hartford section because its not at all my "turf," but after reading that I felt compelled to chime in.

When reading reports from other parts of the country and world, I realize we have a pretty good group here in the Connecticut forum. I rarely see people post things that demean these working girls here like I do in other places, and I for one appreciate that.

Stoner...may I ask what proof you have from this unnamed poster that it indeed was Christina an not another SW?
I think most of the guys who have met her would not agree that she is a thief. But I agree that caution is always warranted when dealing with SW.

Not to doubt Stoner's source, but I have a hard time believing that Christina was a thief. On several occasions I let her sit in my car running while I went in for condoms, or gas, or food,etc. And I have a very expensive car with lots of accessories inside. No cd's or cash or cell's stolen ever. Surely it must be a different girl like Monger suggests. I hope.

I am an out of towner. Cruised around the Wyllis St. area Monday night 7:30-8:15pm and then again from 9:30-10:30pm. I saw "nada" - nothing at all except for a bunch of guys walking around. Am I in the wrong area? I thought I would at least see one honey.

I also checked out Venus; much better girls at the club up the street. Only 2 girls were left by the time I got there. A typical scam that we've all been burned by in the past is the "gotta buy some blah blah blah real quick." scheme. She goes into house and goes out the back door to the real spot...or will lose you in the projects.

This fellow in particular was foolish enough to go trouncing through Dutch point looking for her AFTERDARK! (No offense, guy, if you are reading this, but you need to hear this, seriously) He could have lost more than a few dollars in there.

Just a word of caution. It takes one fellow to come up dead somewhere to cause all sorts of hell. God forbid he has a WSG report in his car and mapquest directions or whatever.
