A little too close for me
When an exact phrase like this shows up twice in two days from two different new posters, I gotta wonder.
"As I read more and learn the best ways to share information I'll do that. Unfortunately I cannot get as many massages as I would like so I'll post as I can. Thank you all for the education, I was wasting too much $ before finding this site."
While I have not been able to play during the last year due to some medical issues, I try to keep up with what is happening. When I saw this line posted twice in the first week of Nov....well all I could think of was a BLT, hold the bread, lett, and tom. (or we got one bigassed copycat)

I think that I was quoted...
Klyde,
I think that Scott17 was quoting my comment and stating that the best way for me to repay the work was to add comments/posts myself. No copycat, just using my words to make a point.
Not much action lately, too busy with other things the rest of '07. Looking forward to a great 2008.
Have a great one,
MM

Yes those who need to pay attention
Your observation should be commended. Many of us do not pay attention to newbie posts as we should.
Thanks for your input!
For those of you who need to pay attention ... the phony mongers are:
"MASSMANIA" and
"SCOTT17"
Dn
If you were paying attention you would have known that I was trying to quote his message without copying the whole thing. But thanks for the flame anyway.

How to quote another poster
If you were paying attention you would have known that I was trying to quote his message without copying the whole thing. But thanks for the flame anyway.

When you wish to quote another poster, simple click on the quote button on the lower right of the message box. That process will initiate a reply message and will frame the quote appropriately (I suspect that you know that already). If you wish to edit out unnecessary verbiage then you can do so easily, but be sure to use ellipses to indicate deleted passages. Simply adding the text of another poster's comments, without clearly indicating that it is quoted material, is a sure bet to confuse your readers and perhaps invoke the kind of responses that you received.
Vigilance on this board is extremely important to the preservation of our hobby and I again applaud Kool Klyde for paying attention as he did.
If I have wrongly accused you or Massmania, then you have my apology.
Take care and thanks for your response.
