Well Roscoe, the management of Chameleon is probably not in a position to make these kinds of decisions. We'll see what happens when the competition opens. Drink prices and room charges will have to be re-evaluated, if C-Mowes keeps their old business model.
Not to mention, there aren't very many incall places that will post pictures of their girls. Massage parlors certainly don't. Even escort agencies rarely have a real schedule that gets adhered to. I was in St. Louis again over the weekend against my will-due to work and like a fly to a porch light; I decided to stop by Dollies and Chameleon. With my last experiences still fresh, I was a bit leery of stopping in. At Dolly’s, I don’t have much to report except that when I was having a private dance with a cute blonde (I can’t remember her name), an older man kept standing in the next booth to watch me and my dancer. We where both put-off by it and I got no mileage. I was considering where to go next and found myself pulling into the lot across from Chameleon. With all the choices in that town-here I was again. The place was a bit dead for a Saturday evening. There where maybe 5 dancers and as many guys. I attempted to get the attention of a young, heavier blonde-but she had her own agenda for the night. An athletic black dancer who had great ass and muscular thighs approached me. She sat down and her hand went to my lap and talked for a while. I decided to give her a shot. The girls told me about it two weeks ago. That was the first I had heard of it, and they seemed to think he was going to jail, but they didn't care because C-Mowes was opening.

I wasn't there Saturday night, but the heavier blonde sounds like Crystal. I hope that the athletic black girl wasn't Candy Stixx, as I had high hopes for her being one of the good ones. The one thing about Club Vogues website is that they haven't kept the pics of the girls working there up to date for quite sometime. Lynn's website really didn't give much info outside of their hours,phone number,location and the mention of the business mens special.

Most of the girls working there do one drug or another and you should always keep that in mind. I don't think all of them are addicts like the street girls but most of them do something on a regular basis.
It would be sad to see the club shut down because of the owner's arrest but unless he sells or brings in another partner it probably will happen. He can kiss any chance of getting that adult biz license goodbye. The liquor license he might be able to transfer to a partner or a general manager.
It will be good when C-Mowes reopens but I would hate to lose the Chameleon Club. They are both good in their own ways.

Washington Park club owner appears on meth charges
Alleged conspiracy may involve others

A Washington Park club and business owner made an initial appearance in court Friday on federal conspiracy charges in connection with a methamphetamine ring that operated in Madison, St. Clair, Monroe and other counties.
Scott Thorburg, 36, of 9685 Ridge Heights Road in Fairview Heights, was charged with one count of conspiring with others to distribute methamphetamine in Madison, Monroe, St. Clair and other counties in southern Illinois after a joint investigation by the St. Clair County Drug Tactical Unit and Drug Enforcement Agency, said Thomas Trice, head of the tactical unit. He was arrested Thursday and could not be reached for comment.
"The investigation is ongoing, and multiple suspects are expected to be indicted in the conspiracy," Trice said.
Thorburg, who owns the Chameleon Club and Davis Towing in Washington Park, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. after drug agents, who were conducting surveillance on another suspect, identified Thorburg.
The conspiracy began in the summer of 2003 and continued until May, moving more than 500 grams of methamphetamine, according to the indictment that was filed under seal May 24.
Thorburg appeared in federal court Friday before U.S. District Judge Donald Wilkerson, who released him on his own recognizance on condition that he not travel outside of the metro area without permission, avoid contact with other defendants, witnesses or victims in his case, refrain from alcohol or drug use and submit to drug testing.
The former owner of the Chameleon Club and Davis Towing, Tommie Davis, also faced legal troubles when he was indicted for faking disability claims. Davis was sentenced in May 2004 to six months in prison and ordered to pay restitution of $28,940 and a $10,000 fine.
Davis claimed he couldn't work for more than 10 years because of a back injury and collected disability checks beginning in July 1989.
Ten years later, Davis claimed he injured his back doing construction work.
Two years later, insurance records showed Davis claimed he was injured moving his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
On his mortgage application, Davis stated he earned $48,000 from Davis Towing and $70,000 a year from the Chameleon Club.
Davis battled then-mayor Sherman Sorrell after Sorrell claimed the Chameleon Club was a front for prostitution, asking patrons to pay $25 to rent a towel and enter a "couples only" room.

I didn't mean to suggest that she was a tweaker, walking around picking at her skin with her teeth falling out. But it is clear that she is on something. I guess I shouldn't have pointed her (and Sabrina) out, as most of the girls there do one thing or another. But yeah, Crystal was pretty high most of that night.
