That's what I like about this site
So it would be illegal to have sex in a dorm room, RV, tent, or boat? I know an attorney who has represented massage parlor owners and he knows of no such California state law.
He told me that the California Supreme Court has ruled that “a closed room made available to different members of the public at successive intervals is not a place considered open to the public” under state vice laws. The case was Prior v. the City of LA. It seems to me that this would fit the massage parlour situtation.
He didn’t say that prostitution would be legal in a AMP, he just said that unpaid sex would not be illegal under California law.
I Googled “unlawful genital contact in a public place” and didn’t find much of anything.
I guess there could be some city ordiances that might specifically apply to MPs. But again, the likihood of you being caught with your dick in a provider is a million to one.
I don’t pretend to be a lawyer or have any special knowledge of law. If you can give a code section or a case reference I'll take it to him. He’s been helpful in the past – probably assumes that I might need him some day.
The guys are looking out for each other and offering informed advice.
I wonder why they didn't include an IRS agent in the raids. When they found the $700,000 cash in the bank, I'm sure it somehow escaped taxes. I also wonder if this cloud on amps has hurt business. I know more than a few guys are staying away from amps until this blows over.
