La Brea Health was on Wilshire, about 2 blocks east of Wilshire & La Brea, and that's the one I wish would re-open. Spa La Brea had senior citizens working there, but La Brea Health had some nice young gems in the rough every now and then.

I know which ones you're talking about, but it was neither. This one was on LB, north of Spa La Brea. Pretty close to Hollywood. I drove by again and the lights were off and the driveway was closed off.

So I was checking out the forum tonight and had a little money burning a hole in my pocket so I headed over to GSS in Industry. I had a great time there last time with Angie but tonight was a swing and a miss. A K-girl with bad teeth named Jay was my tech and wanted $ for CBJ. I was surprised and asked her what she wanted for everything if $ was her starting price. She said it was the same price. Now I'm all for tipping well for good service, but I got the feeling that she was not interested in anything and just wanted to go home for the night. I tried to get her down to. 6 or. 8 again but once again I struck out. She said that all of the customers pay that. I don't believe that. She said that some people even pay $. 6 which I might believe for FS with this hottie but not for CBJ. She settled on. 4 for HJ but she wasn't happy.

So guys, am I just a cheapskate for expecting at most. 8 for CBJ or is that really what everyone is paying now? Sometimes all I want is a BJ. I would settle for one from a SW but are there any around Industry? I live in the eastern part of LA county so a drive to Fig is too far for me. If anyone knows of any SW around the Industry or Pomona end of LA county, I'd greatly appreciate it.

COI is a typical hundred dollar F/S town, but it shouldn't have been a problem for either of these providers to accomodate you for sixty-eighty bucks for a BJ. Hell, they could've at least met you half way!

I stopped mongering in COI a few years back because of the greed and lack of quality from numerous girls.

My advice; hop on the 10 east and hit up Elite Accu. in Claremont/Upland. Sixty beans will get you F/S with no hassles. Head a little further east into Bloomington and there's a 1/2 dozen Amp's that offer F/S for sixty as well. On top of that, all these places only charge forty for entrance fees. Hundred smackers out-the-door ... not too shabby eh?

I was looking a poll of the age of people who hobby, and I was surprised by the age breakdown:

Admittedly, this is not a scientific poll, but it surprised me that there appeared to be few mongers in the over 50 age group (where I am about to be!). Do you think it's because the pleasure diminishes with age? No more earth-shaking orgasms that leave you sweating and collapsing into sleep? Or is it simply that the over-50's are just not that computer savvy.

These are very interesting questions that would take at least 6 PhD theses to answer. Unfortunately, at 60, I am too old to get in to graduate school. Besides, I spend too much time mongering, thinking about mongering, or reading about it to have time to work on a PhD thesis.

For a sample of one, let me just say that it is as good as ever. Maybe better. At my age, even the 40 year olds are young.

I am 58 and I bet there are more than 2% of us in the hobby. I will say that I am glad I don't have the drive I did when in my 20's and 30's and that my O's are as good. I would be frickin broke all the time.

The 51+ crowd is probably in the 5-10% range, but they just don't use the internet and forums as much as the 22-50 group to click on your poll. The 18-21 age group for the most part can't afford this hobby, plus they can just go to a college party and take the drunk girls home :) !

I think it's more likely that those over 50 don't waste time responding to polls.

Know that for many years I've had no time for the telephone quizzes that occasionally come my way. And over-50s likely have even less patience for that. So I'd say it's more a demographic thing.

And I guess I'm a bit more cynical than some--having seen the polling process up close. Mark Twain's famous observation applies:

"There are lies, damned lies. And statistics (polls). "

Depending on how the respondents are selected, questions that are asked etc. You can shape a poll anyway that you want.

And if an older monger is called at home or polled in some other way that conceivably could leave his identity open for public scrutiny. Do you think he's dumb enough to respond?

Thanks! It's reassuring to know, as I pass the 50 years milepost, that there is still the possibility of good times. By the way, that poll was a pretty large sample (>1000). Obviously, since the poll was on a website, the people participating were self-selecting.

It's true, as I get older, the pool of women who are "old" to me shrinks, so what I find attractive expands. And, yes, the older gals do give better service, with a few, notable exceptions. Actually, among the AMP workers, over 40's is common. We Americans don't seem to be very good at guessing the age of Asian women. I think most of them are at least 10 years older than they tell us, but we don't know any better.

I am 50 and I am just getting warmed up!
