SPPD have had unmarked units camping in the residential areas on either side of 34th around 30th Ave N.
I got tailed the other night, apparently until they discovered I was alone.
They're apparently looking to bust people in the act now, not just on pickups.

Even if you are alone, they may occassionally light you up to see what you were doing in the area. Never admit you were looking for a lady. If they don't catch you with one, and in the act, they have no proof of anything. They will try to either intimidate you or pretend to be your friend.
From time to time they've watched for ladies to get picked up in unmarked, hidden vehicles. They'll follow from a distance and wait for you to park. A few minutes later they'll be all over your azz. They are hoping to catch both in the act. When you see a lady booked at almost the same time as a guy, both with lewd&lasc. + prostitution, there's a good chance that happened.
If you follow the rules and remain aware of your surroundings, you should be ok. If you have a funny, gut feeling about something pay attention to it.
I have been trying to pick up this cutie for a long time, she always gets quickly scooped. She is usually out on 34th st for between 2am and 8 am. So my brothers, based on her history of being out at the same time for atleast a few weeks, if she were ripping people off regularly wouldnt she have to find another spot to go? Just wondering if you all think her spot is a safe spot or if you have been with her before.

Not sure what you were thinking she was up to, but one trick I've pulled if I think I might have a cash and dash girl on my hands is to pull in somewhere with the passenger door about 1" from something so there was no way she was getting out. I know my car and I can get it into some seriously tight places if I want to! Anyone have any luck with a hot blonde down by 5th Ave N recently. This was a few nights ago and I just now got around to posting about it.
She was dressed up in full SW attire like you'd see on the movies. White girl, early 20s, high heels, short skirt, somewhat revealing top, makeup, and really pretty on her own right to boot. Looked like she was headed to a night club and I would have been proud to have her at my side on a night out.
I got her attention and she started to walk towards me. She knew what I wanted. I parked and instead of walking over to my passenger door to get in, she walked up to my driver door and started chatting me up through the window. BIG RED FLAGS AND WARNING BELLS started going off in my head.
I acted confused about why she approached me and politely told her I was not interested in talking to her and for her to have a nice evening...
Now, I don't know if she was a cop or just new to this whole thing and hadn't learned the ropes herself, but I wasn't taking any chances.
Everything screamed STING except for one thing... she was walking a very large area down there. Unless they're getting smarter and there were several undercovers watching her from different vantage points then I don't see how it could have been a sting. And if it was a sting, they all would have known what I was trying to do and that I had just not taken the bait. Wouldn't it have been likely that they would have had a marked car tail me and maybe even harass me after I was so obvious about what I was doing -- or would they choose to let it go so as to not blow their cover in hopes of getting me next time?
At any rate, I follwed the 22 rules and got out of dodge as soon as she started talking to me through the window.
Anyone know this girl to be the real deal???
FYI- Your Asian hottie is over the place almost any night of the week. Since I travel the same roads all the time for work, I have seen her out alot. You can also find her picture on BP under Asia. If you stop in your local fast food place on 11th Ave and get a good luck at her you will see its the same girl.

Never had a problem with the "spot" issue, but she was very leary the first time. As far as appearance and service, dressed is superior to undressed and everything is covered.

Yes, it's the same girl and she is very discreet on the street. I was concerned about getting set up to be robbed. She associates with a few girls on the street and they seem to work together. I have also seen them associate with a few males on the street.

Good eye RC, there are two Asias on BP, its the one with the 813 area code. She is real hot and seems real sweet, just wasn't sure about going through with it caused she refused to go any place but hers.

There are a handful of girls that use the 206 area code that descend on the 34th st area for a spell and then they disappear for a while. They advertise on BP and also can be found on the stroll. I reported on them a few months ago. Most of them are atrractive young black girls, although the asian girl and a hot blonde seem very familiar with the "crew".
I don't know what the real deal is with the bunch, but I tried to swoop one of the hot black ones and all she wanted to do is chat through the window and get me to come to her room. I saw the same scenario played out with multiple mongers who, like me, opted to not break the rules. I will not give total control in the situation over to them and, for whatever reason, this seems to be what they seek. Until they play by the regular mongering rules, my gut tells me to steer clear.
All 4 or 5 of them all show Sarasota booking addresses. The only one of the "crew" that I haven't seen arrested is the Asian chick.
Other than that they seem to get a room in St Pete and walk at will up and down 34st. Since they seem to be working together these ladies are making a killing.
They get each other out of jail within hours no matter if its 500 or 5000 dollar bond. So they seem to be well organized also. I have seen a 6ft plus black guy that acts like a pimp to them recently. I think he is running a decoy to scout for the cops. It is actually amusing to think that they are outsmarting the cops.

So, can anyone here verify that they've actually had a good time with any of the girls from this crew, and that by giving them control of the situation has not resulted in anything bad happening? How about damages for hooking up with them?
The other problem is that unless I know for sure that a particular girl is part of this crew I'm not going to violate the rules even if she's a knockout 10.
