Have some reason of visit if there is building security that questions you; this had happened to some as reported; and me once at a newer MW complex w video intercom got me off guard and two front desk security right at the entry who immediately ask who I was visiting and offer to help dial the codes; "oh I'm here to meet Ms. Lee for lunch." Each system / software may be unique but these quick access codes you speak of are programmed by an individual who has access to the software, so there is not a master universal code that would work on multiple buildings.
