Was in the area and decided to hit Fran Wellness. It was 7 or so in the evening and was able to see an attendant (Nicole) right away.

Then she started asking how much I tip, I don't like to play that game. I told her depends on the service, 40-60-80 depends on you, maybe she didn't understand but she wouldn't let up.

Sometimes it's because of getting a rep for overtipping such that it becomes too expensive to keep visiting. And of course sometimes it's an issue with the MMS or one or more of the masseuses. IME, one classic scenario is when one girl starts to see you as her exclusive client and trying to see any other masseuse brings about an extreme amount of drama. This happens even more often if the client is a nice guy, handsome and a good tipper.

The good news is there are plenty of other AMPs to visit as you learn from your experiences. I don't visit AMPs as often as I did in the past (prefer indies more) but I've always found it useful to have 2 or 3 "go to" places as it kept me from visiting one place too often and getting caught up in any drama. If things at one AMP got to the point where one girl became too possessive, I could then easily visit one of my other spots. If the possessive masseuse gave good service then I would still keep her in my rotation but I always made it a point to never see any of the other girls at that spa. The girls talk constantly among themselves about clients and even if the girl was on vacation or on a day off, it's a 100% certainty that she would find out and then the service level would probably go down (and the drama would go up). If for some reason I had to drop an AMP from my rotation it was good to have the other backup options while I tried out new spas to take its place.

IMHO, it's always good to have some low-cost (relatively speaking) options in your pocket and AMPs are perfect for that. With a little care you can become just enough of a trusted regular at 2-3 places while at the same time sidestepping potential drama situations. And when it comes to tipping protocols we should all read and heed Telcova's recent post (below).

I sometime go in to check out the lay of the land and say I was passing by, and could I have a card and will call when I have more time. If they are slow and bored, they will try hard to keep you there and then it usually is more fun! So what hours are they slow and on what days? Or, when are they busiest?

Regarding the CAMPs, I'm not sure there's really any predictable "slow time" or "busiest days", to be honest. It depends as much on the weather as much as it depends on proximity to payday and a host of other factors. The "mood" can strike any given monger at any given time. So, unless there is a common biorhythm we can use to predict those, you're probably best to flip a coin. From my own experience, I've never had difficulty anytime I've gone to pay a visit at the CAMPs. Calling ahead does often help, though. Hope this helps a little bit.

I visited a spot in Chantilly. Think "Robert Paris" where two AMPs are located. I visited the one facing the main road starting with the letter "M".

I had Sara, pretty attractive, mid to late 30's maybe, nice round backside, C cups. 80 for the entrance fee (she provided a really good massage which is a shock coming from a Korean AMP). No TS but if you want to, they have a self-serve shower, which I find is the only drawback to this place. Based on other reviews from other monger websites, this place gets pretty good reviews. They are a bit skittish of uncle LEO as when Sara asked me if I have been here before, I said yes and had to name drop another provider that works there to put her at ease and then she went out of the room to bring in the other provider to verify. She let me feed as if I was a baby and had a really great attitude. OTC and a little UTC (didn't attempt to go below). I got the feeling if she feels a good vibe with you, you can get her digits with subsequent visits.

Since you asked, and I see you have been helpful in the past, I travel to Florida in the Winters and summers are split between Roanoke (lake) area and and. VA. And need to passing thru Charlottesville to fuel up and break up the long ride!

Example relative the SURVEY: In SW Florida, people get up early, play golf, eat dinner and go to sleep early, which affects AMP busy times I think, . Compared to and. VA which seems to be very different.

DC002.[/QUOTE]IME, busiest times tend to be during lunch hour and also as mongers are heading home from work in the early evening. I've found the slowest times to generally be right after the AMP opens and then again during midafternoon (2-4 pm).

Weekends can be a crapshoot as some places are crazy-busy while others are dead. Many other variables to consider, of course, but I've had pretty decent results using these times as a guideline.

Believe it or not, even though lifestyles (working versus retired) are different, schedules are more or less the same: get up early, go to work, have lunch, finish work, eat dinner, and go to sleep early for work the next day (if it's Sunday through Thursday). Probably affects AMP busy times in much the same way.

BTW, you didn't mention what [B]your former USASG handle[/B] was. Care to share it?

I can't verify Mickey is actually still there, but the studio has an active BP advertisement and other review sites have reasonably current reviews. After all the Seattle weather we've been having, I decided I wanted to see the Sun. Ruby was my therapist. Taller, slender up top. She gave a great deep tissue massage. It wasn't a flowing, swedish-type of rub, but pressing down into the muscles to loosen them up (sometimes using knees / feet to get deep). I was draped with a thin sheet for the first 20 minutes or so, and she was working through the sheet. She did not use any lotion, and it felt awesome. Nice teasing before the flip, some roaming up top, and a nice slow NoVa finish. I would return.

Wasn't even 30 minuites before I walked out.

Second place I visited is what I thought was sunny but I could be wrong. Found the ad on BP and went. It's located near a shopping center but in a business park. I went in after I saw 3 other mongers leave. I get an hour and strip down. They even asked me how old I was half way through the massage. The massage was pretty good actually. Instead of oil she used a cream / paste. No roaming. Covered the whole time same story on the flip. Little head was sad but at least I got a decent massage. Total damage was a $ including tip only reason she got a tip was because it was a good massage.

Maybe it's because I'm new to the area I'm not finding that dream I'm looking for but can other mongrels point me to the right direction? I'm at two strikes ha. Any located in Manassas? I'm staying down there and sick of fighting traffic to find a parlor.

When traveling to a new area I usually search USASG, BP, CL and the oThER site using keywords specifically targeted to find what I'm looking for. In your case, if you search using keywords like Manassas, Centreville or other nearby areas (consider that Dumfries is reachable via 234 and may be worth including) you should find plenty of results for both AMPs and indie providers. Then you can do a secondary search for info on specific places or providers to see which ones are worth a visit.

I don't know if this is the appropriate section for Front Royal Massage, but here it goes. I saw two ads in the Craigslist Winchester Therapeutic section for "Relaxation Therapy". Both ads are from maybe a week ago, with a picture of a younger blond, "Tiffany", and their other ad shows an older, very busty "Cynthia". The massages are performed in a very secluded house, I can't imagine anything more private, they are located several miles from Rt 66. There is a stand up shower offered to you, and they have a professional massage table with the hole opening for your face. Lit candles, a huge aquarium with tropical fish and a fireplace makes for a very relaxing and soothing massage. Don't expect anything more than a standard NoVa finish, but for 75 bucks, I think it is well worth it if you are in the neighborhood. I left happy and relaxed and got the full hour. Dick.

I may bring my own in the future. My provider gave a very good long table shower. The massage was very good and just before the flip, she asked how much I wanted to tip. From this I learned that a simple happiness dream might be in my dream for about. 4, roaming and top off was 1/2 again more and there may have been more for perhaps more for a bit more. I took the basic and left quite happy. She seemed quite ok with this as well. I liked the gentle negotiation approach with no confusion or conflict.

All in all, was happy and put them back on the list. $. 2 for the standard NOVA hour.

I decided to do a repeat in shantilly at this AMP on sully circle. Last time I drew BB and felt that it was just her fault for my poor experience and not the AMP itself (mms said come back and she would guarantee I was happier). I drew lilly (like flower sounding name) who is older than BB had a Bcup to Ccup with nursable nips, curly hair, and really flat backside. She was most pleasant and fun throughout the hour. She was very accommodating to my needs before and after the flip. First dream:

Came right after they just opened. Greeted by "Kim" and she showed me the room. She asked me if I have been there, which I replied I did, a long time a go. I lied. Franconia Wellness is one of the five near the local DMV office.

There is plenty of parking in the FW complex, but it can be a bit challenging to find the FW suite (as there are several buildings in this complex, and those buildings contain other massage locations). When you find the correct building and suite, it is a climb up the stairs to the outer office door. Ring the bell and MMS admits you (fairly common suite set-up). The MMS is friendly and I found out by the end of my visit she was careful in preventing arriving and departing clients from bumping into each other on the stairway.

Inside: The place is clean and well maintained. Many studio rooms (I did not count, but I noticed at least four). MMS escorted me to a studio room which was also clean and linen appeared to be fresh. I paid advertised (BP and CL) rate for one-hour massage and MMS departed. I undressed, picked-up a towel and sat on the table. After a few minutes, my massage technician arrived (Lisa). Lisa is a lovely lady with a nice figure (not skin and bones, not heavy), and an interesting person. I later learn she is well experienced massage tech (so – although she looks like a mid-to-late-30's KMILF, she is likely closer to mid-century). After exchanging names and polite pleasantries, she escorts me to the shower.

Lisa provided a nice, thorough TS (the shower room smelled clean and the table was comfortable). By the time I was clean, Lisa had provided me sufficient indications it was likely I would enjoy my massage -- and, as it turns out, I did.

Back to the studio -- FW tables have a hole for your face (I like massage tables with a cradle better, but this was OK). Lisa asked and provided me a medium-deep massage followed by soft. When I turned over, the massage continued. The sun must have gone behind some clouds, because it seemed to me the room was more dim than when we started -- so I asked Lisa if I could uncover the headlights (request granted). Massage progressed to a relaxing conclusion. Lisa used some hot, moist towels for final cool down / clean-up and assisted me with my shoes. I am sure a standard-tip was appropriate – since I will return, I tipped a little extra (for future good will).

Based on advertisements, there are now at five locations within one mile of the DMV. A great opportunity for variety. To try new places, and meet new people. I will likely make additional visits to FW (and first visits to these other locations).

The only downside was I could smell a hint of residual smoke in her hair. It was not overwhelming, but note that if you have allergies and are especially sensitive to tobacco.

May speaks great English, can carry a nice conversation, is flirty and fun, and seems very experienced. She allowed me the full hour's time I paid for, and gave me her undivided attention while I was in her charge.

I found that May has strong hands and she provided a solid therapeutic massage. But she really excelled at the ST!! She also allowed me to really enjoy her beautiful body and ensured that I left VERY happy! Actually, she went over and above the average experience!! PM me for more details.

A new younger lady was at the front desk on my last visit, but older than the young massage therapist by an estimated 20 year delta. I was expecting the young therapist to walk in for the massage, but instead got the older lady that greeted me. Somewhat bummed, I settled in for a hopeful good massage. You are not missing much at FW. I did not have a great experience here about 3 years ago. My provider wanted 80 for services rendered that normally would be about 40, maybe 50 if the actual massage was good too. Maybe things have changed.

I hit up the spot on the front side of the business complex off of Robert Paris, close to Rt 28. As before, great session. Suzy / Susie was my provider. I had Sara last time. Suzy has really great massage skills, even cracked my necked good. 80/60 was the damage, for one hour. She allowed me to gently nurse and gentle OTC / Top side UTC roaming. Gentle caressing goes a long way for these providers vice grab-assing. This place does not do TS but they do have a shower for self-serve. As I said before, they are skittish towards mongers who arent regulars so it may take a couple of trips to put them at ease. Last time, Sara brought in Cindy (who seems to be one of the regular providers there) to look at my face and see if I was a regular or not.

I tried visiting Sunstar near Old Lee Rd, Fairfax. Other monger website gives it 4 out 5 stars, with established reporting. No one was around in the parking lot when I visited but the girl who answered asked me if I had called for an appointment and I said no, then she said sorry, she was not able to see me. Not sure if she was the only one working or if the providers were busy or if they only take appointments (to make them feel safer or seem legit vice allowing walk-ins).
