Your fucking political party is against drilling for oil. Get it. Obama did the same thing.
Trump undid all of it and encouraged drilling with less regulation. That's why gas was $2. 25 instead of $4. 25. Another thing that will be very difficult to sink into your thick liberal skull. Both Obama and Biden and all of the leaders of your fucked up political party want it at $4. 25. Obama's on video saying it very clearly. The reason is simple, but you're awash in Koolaid. So it's a waste of time. Step away from cnn and mslsd.
Well, I guess when you run out of facts you turn to insults. None of the questions were answered. So, higher employment then in January 2021 is a bad thing?
" shutting down the eastern pipeline" all Biden shut down (doing a quick google search), was the keystone xl. You know the one that wasn't build. So tell how much oil (that was going to be shipped overseas) ? No Putin decided to take Ukrainian in 2014.or have you not been paying attention? He was in the east. For years after Obama left office. All Trump could do was ask for dirt on Biden or for go the US aid. Yeah. A real hart. Not to mention trying to overthrow this government. Hope your comrade Trump likes kissing Putins ass.
If Putin was going to do it in 2014 why did he wait until Biden came to office? He knew Trump wouldn't put up with it a would've rallied NATO, something Joe won't do. Check your facts. He stopped offshore drilling leases and stopped fraking and drilling on federal land. That's all fact. You and people like you have elected this. Hope you got what you wanted. What about the border? Is all of that a lie too? Ask CBP and the Americans in border towns. In some cities there were 50 people per day crossing illegally now there are thousands from a dozen different countries. Even the democrats in D. C. Are admitting this. We went from energy independence and exporting more than we imported to being totally dependent on foreign oil. Now Bidens socialist regime is going to Iran, the #1 terrorists supported for oil but only if we totally agree to relax all nuclear development sanctions against them. They're free to develop and expand their capabilities. That put Israel and all of us in danger. Venezuela too. We will be buying from a cruel dictator that abuses his people human rights. Doesn't that hurt your ideas on equality and fair treatment that concern the gender confused left holds dear? The difference between us is that I spent 30 years in the military and the government. I've seen the real world and know the facts. I've seen the evil and the speed that a bad leader can put forward to hurt it own. Save your energy. You're under informed and over opinionated.

Koolaid is Koolaid

I'm wondering how that happened since what you have posted indicates you know little if anything about the matter. Especially in respect to the difference between oil production (that's the drilling for oil part) and the oil refinery part (that's the process that turns the crude oil into gasoline). Then, of course, there are the distribution costs but we'll save that for another day.
I would expect an expert to know, for example, not all oil is the same, there is heavy crude (sour) through ultra-light crude grades (sweet). US oil refineries for the most part are set up to refine the heavy (sour) type crude. This is the type that comes mostly from Russia, Venezuela, Western Canada, Saudia Arabia and other parts of the middle east. Much of the oil produced in the US is too light to refine in US refineries and is therefore exported to refineries that are mostly in Europe.
So the US can produce a trillion barrels a day of light oil and your still going to have to ship it somewhere else to turn it into gasoline. And that oil is still going to be priced based upon the global commodity markets.
Why is this, well, it ain't rocket science, refinery profits! They make more dollars refining the heavy imported oil and they don't give a damn if you like it or not. But they do love gas lighting you!
So if you want to place blame for gas prices at least direct your complaints to the correct department.
US oil production increased significantly during the Obama administration and that trend continued during the Trump presidency, he didn't start it. Gas prices in 2015 were about 2. 45 per gallon down from the high of 3. 64 earlier in his presidency.
Drinking the FOX flavored Koolaid won't make you an expert on anything. Only keeps you as ignorant as those who drink the MSNBC and CNN flavors. And that's where both "sides" of that game want you, congratulations.
Educate yourself my friend, whoever you are listening too isn't helping you much.

The only thing that matters is fiscal policy. The republicans are terrible and the democrats are slightly worse. I vote democrat and hope it all collapses a few years sooner, rather than letting it drag out for a few more years.
You're the one who claims to be an expert. Not me. I'm not your fucking friend either because I can't stand braindead liberals like you.
It's been my experience that those who lash out with insult and generalizations have little of substance to bring to the table yet still wish to be heard. I'm sensing you're one of them.
So, let's get a few things out of the way. I haven't voted for a Democrat since Jimmy Carter and have never voted for a republican. Biden is a psychopathic neo-con imperialist. In general he's no better than Trump and in some ways he is worse. Certainly neither give a damn about the working class and I'm not interested in supporting anyone who doesn't put them first.
Now back to oil and gas. US oil production dropped because demand dropped due to the Covid-19 pandemic. US Oil production had fallen 3 million barrels per day by May of 2020. At that time, Trump was president, not Biden. Guess superman couldn't find his cape.
Also during this time some wells were tapped and closed down. Oil industry workers were lost, new drilling wasn't pursued and the permits sat on, the transportation and shipping industries were thrown into turmoil. None of this has fully recovered and some is still in disarray.
Oil companies could have keep their workers on and their wells pumping at reduced outputs and even opened new wells until things turned around except for one thing, IT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN PROFITABLE! And the protection of those profits are far more important than any working man or women ever will be to those companies. And if you think that's something that changes when it's a Dem or Rep in charge, you're just foolish.
But slowly US demand rose and is returning to prepandemic levels. US oil production has also increased 2 million barrels per day which is still 1. 4 million short of prepandemic times. And it has nothing to do with Biden restricting drilling or drilling regulations or any of that right-wing talking points garbage. It can be argued that the way Covid was handled is making it more difficult to return to prepandemic conditions. But that mishandling falls as much on the oil industry itself as the government. I would think that everyone by now understands it is large corporate interests (Oil Industry meets that definition) running the government more so than the other way around.
If Putin was going to do it in 2014 why did he wait until Biden came to office?
Putin and leaders like him laugh and Biden. No one fears or respects him like they did Trump. Mark my words (and I hope I'm wrong), the shit will hit the fan in the next 3 years while Joe's still in office. Biden is weak physically and mentally (and he's just getting weaker), he has also made this country weak by firing the people that protect it for not getting vaccinated (Trump would not have done that). Putin is going to keep pushing the envelope and Biden isn't going to do anything but place BS sanctions on him.
You and people like you have elected this. Hope you got what you wanted.
"Anyone but Trump," that's what they wanted, I hope they are happy. Trump may have been an asshole but he was doing a great job of running this country. You can't blame Putin for this current inflation, it's all on Biden.

https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/trump-donor-speech-russia-china-nuclear-apocalypse-1317412/
AIImonger you and people like you are really misinformed. You need to listen to a little right news to balance out some of that misleading left news. Here is an example. Recently Biden said he produced more oil in his first year in office then Trump did in his first year in office, that is true. But what the left news doesn't tell you is Trump inherited Obama's and Biden's low production numbers. Trump spent his first year undoing the damage that Obama and Biden did. When Biden took office he inherited Trump's high production numbers, so that's how Biden produced more oil in his first year in office then Trump did in his first year in office. This is how the left news lies or misleads you.
And just an FYI, Trump produced more oil in his first year in office then Obama and Biden did in their last year in office. Yes he ramped up Obama and Biden's low numbers.
I'm not a religious man but I recently stumbled upon a Christian talk radio show called the Bob Dutko show. I find him to be fair with his opinions without being too far right like a Sean Hannity. He's on 103.5 FM from noon to 4 pm M-F. Maybe check it out if you have a free minute or two. And before anyone asks, yes I listen to left news.
