But with all that said about being coked-up, there's not the opiate effects of totally nodding out, sometimes to the point of completely turning off the lights between the ears, and falling over dead, leaving a whole lotta stiffs all over the 'hood.

I've read from the stats put out by the StL City Health Dept that the officially logged body count in the City for 2022-2023 was over 800 (eight-fucking-hundred!) total dead from fentanyl + other opiods. So a lot more than "another day, another body." And that's just those that got officially counted, having post-mortem toxicology tests done on them. The total of all StL deaths involving stimulants including coke & amphetimines was about half that, but many of those also were simultaneously counted among the opiod deaths, testing positive for both when they croaked, so one might suspect it was most likely the fenny that got them to stop breathing air. I'd set the betting line at more than even money that she was or will be back on it pretty soon after getting out.

A few months ago one of the SWs in town, who use to have a comfy middle class life before she went on the pipe, got cooked like a lobster in one of the dope houses while crashing on the sofa. Another crackhead went psycho and poured a big kettle of boiling water over her for "reasons" that make no sense at all even after having it explained to me several times. She was in a hospital secure locked-down burn unit for about two weeks having massive skin grafts, which saved her life but left her looking, um, different. I've known her for several years and she had me listed as her primary local emergency contact, as that was the closest thing to a friend she had available to call, and they let me in the otherwise restricted area for some short visits while she was coming back from dying and going to Hell. When they decided she was repaired enough to discharge her (or maybe needed the room) the hospital required some supposedly competent semi-responsible type person to take her wherever she was going, rather than letting her out the door to try to leave on her own stumbling around all wrapped up in bandages.

So I became that allegedly responsible adult who picked her up on the big day of officially (barely) cheating death. A hospital social worker had worked hard to get a place set up for her to get into to finish healing and for a bunch of help getting back into something like a normal life: like one that doesn't involve getting stabbed and barbecued. But as soon as I got her loaded into my car, with a bunch of ridiculous excuses ("I have some spare shoes there, and I need to give them ten bucks I owe, and yadda-yadda") she insisted on putting off checking into the free recovery housing, going straight back to one of the other dope houses instead. She's still out there, working the streets every day on the north side & living for the next hit of "girl" to smoke.

Besides being born with the looks of a model (before getting a lot of her skin cooked off) if you talked to her almost anyone would say she's actually a very bright & capable woman, and no dummy at all. Really.

One thing I think might be somewhat different about South Bdwy is there are some who are strung out, but on neither of those: there are some meth tweakers around. I wouldn't know how many, but I think more common the further south you go, as it's my understanding that using meth tends to be somewhat of a South County thing. I haven't seen or heard of it in other parts of the metro area where I go a lot more often. One potential "tell" about that is meth users can eventrually tend to get some fairly distinctive looking sores popping up at random places on their skin. I don't know how to describe them clearly, other than saying they appear as random little sores, in places unrelated to whatever they use as their injection site, including sometimes face & hands & neck & etc.

I hit up the bridge and stop the other night. I started with a thicker brunette with acne scars and nice rack. She said she could DT, so I said yeah, let's go. No joy. She gagged at half length. I took some. $ back and dropped her at the park.

Next round was this redhead with thick hair. She claimed no problem with dt, because that's what she's known for. I'm all aaight bet. We give it a go but she gags a bunch and says she wants to run inside to get her pills. That's a nono in my book because as soon as you let them out, they're gone or they're bringing a friend with iron back. So, I just let her out and called it a loss. $. 4.

I think that was what she went by. Recent talk about drugs taking down girls has me thinking about her and hoping she is okay. About twenty years ago, on a very hot late morning day, I was in East St. Louis where there was still plenty of action on the street. I see this gorgeous brunette in her early twenties in a grass field right by the road wearing a bikini. From there, it was a wild and scary trip. She first had me take her somewhere to change and then she had me go to the gas station across the highway from where we now have the car racing facility. She promised me an extra good time if I got out a little more money than I was carrying and, thinking with my little head, I did. Right when we walk in, the store clerk yells at her to get out, that she is not allowed in there any more. She proudly puts her arm around mine and says she is with me and the store clerk gave me the worst look. I can only imagine that girl's history with that gas station. Luckily, I do my ATM thing and get out of there quick. Then, she has me drive from one place to the next in these totally desolate areas. I was very naive, not realizing she is looking for a dealer. Eventually, I am on the side of the road in East St. Louis while she is buying coke out of my car with some very rough characters. She immediately snorts it and is singing (not a bad voice) and telling me about the little town in Missouri that she is from. She tells me she has a place in South St. Louis and she was ready to have fun with me. By that point, with this girl carrying coke in my car and all the stops I had made that were very dangerous, I knew my best bet was to tell her I no longer had time to play and I dropped her off where I found her. I didn't want to be anywhere near that trouble even though I had probably gone over my last hurdle by then to be with this gorgeous girl. Still, she was only going to get more wacked out in my time with her.

She was on the Southside at the time. She was nice and I was APREHENSIVE about going to her place as that can be a recipe foe disaster but I was "lucky" enough to do what I needed to do. She actually wanted me to stay longer but I did not want to push my "luck". She was a "close by" pickup and always wanted to go to her place. I saw her a couple of times after our 1st meeting but did not hook up after the 1st time meeting because it was a GREAT VISIT and she was VERY accommodating and offered a LOT of things JUST to make ME happy! My heart was BROKEN to hear when she past because she was VERY SWEET to me during and after our 1st meeting but I just did not want to go back to her place again and could not get her to a room, BUT my game was new at the time.

Was a little bit of a time waster but even when I picked her up and we chatted for a while I could tell she was kind of nervous but that kind of went away. She's a gamer so be careful if you don't know the game. I saw her several times afterwards but was like "I'll see if she's still there when I come back up" but she'll be gone. Finally picked her up a cple weeks ago and she needed to drop something off a few blocks away BUT when we got close to the Highway she was quick to ask where we were going. She had stopped along the interstate to help at an accident scene and was struck and killed by another vehicle. I don't know what originally brought her to the Eastside, I'm guessing runaway with a drug problem or something similar. She got cleaned up and danced off and on at the old Hollywood Showclub. With all of this simping on this board for months I'm not sure if I should share my report. But anyway. Last night I was on the worst D of them all Gin And Orange Juice. I went to Pops at like 130 am but it was 100% dead so I went to South Broadway. After many laps I said fuck it I'm going home. As I was about to get on the highway I finally spotted one a decent. On the way to my favorite spot for some mouth action the subject of her not having anywhere to go afterwards came up. From that point my little man took over. She told me her name was Sam. She's like 6 feet tall with a sexy slim figure. BUT with big ass feet and hands. She's got damage on them legs I did not notice the arms. It was just so much on her legs I could not un-see it. She did look "extra pretty" when I picked her up🫣 but looking at her now in my bed. I'm going with the typical dope fiend look but decent. I'm not ever messing with her again. She's not down with the recording not even for a lot more $extra $ nor having any lights on. At all! (I like to watch dummy). It was always something she was not feeling. I had to tell her my favorite *I'm not your boyfriend suck me right*. Eventually I got mines and "we" went to sleep. I'm a morning nut type of guy so I woke her up and asked for more. Her reply was are you going to give up some more M. I said of course Ain't Nothing free so she goes to use the bathroom but when she comes out she says I don't even feel like doing it anymore. I dropped her back off around 11 am.
