Has anyone else here, specifically the others who have frequented the hotel Asians, gotten repeated unsolicited messages from numbers that don't reply back? I've gotten both text messages with a different number telling me to contact that for more info, and some messages that are just images that look like it came straight out of one of their StG ads, but with a question like "are you available now?" written over it. These ones give no other number to text and don't respond. I don't know what business model they're trying to run with these, but it doesn't really work.

Same with emails.
Although one should not trust anything unsolicited. Sometimes an unsolicited text maybe visibility into spots that maybe more on the down low. Nobody wants to be busted, and there are enterprising folks that curate customer contacts and then may send unsolicited invitations / ads for new places, possibly private homes or normal businesses with upstairs / downstairs accommodations.
