It doesn't mean we keep it all for ourselves. It's still a global market so US producers can still sell to foreign countries (that aren't banned) at the global market price. So yes, yes, yes it does matter what the demand for oil is in other countries.

Only a matter of time before we speak Russian or more likely Chinese. Whether we have food to eat or clean water to drink, those decisions will be made by the Russian or Chinese government.
