The one exception is if you come down with HIV. Then it is a big NO. Most other diseases are kept between you and the clinic with medical recommendations for you. Most major cities and many small ones also have this testing and will give you confirmation of your results and those results in most cases are sealed from the CDC and local Health Associations. Check with the local rules in your area I am sure they vary. Just an attempt to help out. ALWAYS VERIFY BEFORE GOING THROUGH THE PROCESS.

My mini-rant / statement of the day.
From this point on-- I will work in the areas that are convenient to me / comfortable for me.
In the past 2 weeks, twice now I have set up shop in different parts of town at the request of one or more mongers. In both cases, once there, the mongers in question were nowhere to be seen. And the areas apparently weren't easy enough access for anyone else. So I've sat. And sat. Knowing that if I were in one of my normal parts of town. I'd be busy.
So no-- no more. It'll be east side or north side from this point onward unless you're a reliable regular who begs and begs.

In my case, I did provide my health insurance info and I believe they asked for an ID so it was not anonymous. The clinic did a blood test for syphilis and a swab test for gonorrhea and chlamydia. They did a visual test for genital herpes, and warts. In the visual test, I think they also looked for signs of trichomoniasis and would do a swab test if you show symptoms. They did an HIV blood test but I did have to sign a separate form for that and the results are handled differently. I believe it was a social worker rather than the nurse that provided me the result. The clinic did not test for hepatitis C at that time. I had my family doctor order that blood test during a routine checkup.

It depends on the state but it is why states are making it a crime / serious to have unprotected sex if the partner has HIV. Even worse if the partners have multiple partners and have HIV.

The online services which offer testing will not or cannot proscribe solutions of any kind. It is probably state-specific. So you still need to get the solution from your PCP or whatever.
