What you see and don't see
I'll be venturing up to Philly for the first time from VA Beach (where the SW action is slim to non-existent) and I'm curious to know if there's a noticeable difference between the police presence on K Ave and on Broadway in Camden. Thanks.
Don't let being naive give you the surprise of the day. TBH LEO is everywhere on the stroll. Just because you don't see them does not mean they don't see you. There are many many uniformed and plainclothes units around. In addition to that, there are foot patrols and bike patrols. Undercover units are everywhere. They watch the area like a dog watches a bone. Many stay in the shadows as they don't want to give their presence away without cause. They drive cars taken from dealers or others involved in the activity in that area. So, they could be directly behind or next to you and you wouldn't have a clue.
If you want to avoid interaction with LEO simply act normal. Don't act like you are at a sideshow at the carnival. Don't stare at every woman that is around. They don't all work. Some may even be selling for the dealers. The dealers do not want you looking for or trying to pick up pussy on their blocks. Mess with them and you will find yourself in more of a confrontation than you may want to be in.
I have seen dozens of confrontations on that stroll. Individually they are mostly a bunch of pussies. When they get into a confrontation they come out of the woodwork. They all jump on one person. The only time in my life I ever seen a bunch of pussies win a battle. So don't try to prove you are smart by being stupid. Use caution caution caution. Stay alert and live to play another game.
I have no doubt the game is played differently in other cities. What works in Camden may not work in Philly and so forth. So, always stay on your toes there. Expect every individual that passes you to be able to do you harm.
Every now and then I will sit on the stroll. I'll drop my passenger window three to five inches. Then I watch how many people will walk right to the passenger door before they see that I am in the vehicle. Amazingly surprising. Gives me the correct perspective of what I'm dealing with when I am in their element. I know they are looking for something to steal to sell. If I'm wrong then I suck it up and life goes forward. No big deal. Me, I'm just an 'OL Gator.
Almost repeated with Sharon
Saw Sharon (large chest, glasses) this morning on the northern end of the stroll, just off the ave. Caught her eye a few times, but between people riding right up on my ass when I'm going well above the speed limit and the UC car that kept parking near her as she walked up and down the back streets, I decided to pass. It's rough out there. Slim pickings before sunrise in my experience, and with the sun coming up earlier now, it's even harder to find a good one.
Warm weather and pandemic slowing / funds running out = more selections on the stroll
Went to a late night stroll on Sat. Night, since the weather's been amazing there were still a lot of people out on the streets even till 3 4 am. Roamed first around 9 pm, caught blonde Veronica across the Quick Stop. Wouldn't recommend though she's pretty good looking. But man do you get an unenthusiastic job from her. Was so careless even cracked a piece of plastic in my car when she stepped from the front to back. However, as I finished hanging around the area and went for a last stroll around 3 am, saw this young slim spinner brunette, them at Huntington. Definitely a great find. Slim body, rock hard abs, and can sing like the top ones. Enjoyed the song so much I opted to have the full meal. As the weather keeps up, I am hopeful the streets will return to its previous livelihood.
