As I recall, it closed about 22 years ago. "American" was (if memory serves) in the name.
I just got back from a ride on the Orange line to a stop somewhere between Rosslyn and New Carrollton.
I had to walk FAR too far to see the person I saw.
It was well worth the hike and I came out of there feeling 30 years younger but really tired! I almost took a taxi back to the Metro!

Last week I got invited to an all orange party. Well I don't have much orange in my wardrobe so I had to go find an outfit to wear. Me being a somewhat fashion conscious guy I knew I had to find a cute chick to help me find an outfit that'll catch eyes. So off I go to the southern most eastern end of the city. Got to the outfit and was let in. They asked to take my measures, no measures I know my sizes, let's just get right to it. Now the chick helping me was slim, on the very very petite side. Something I DON'T like, I prefer voluptuous women, but I'ma good sport. At this point it was late and I had to find something to wear so I said, oh well you'll do. Skipped the formalities and picked an outfit and a dressing room. In the dressing room she "helped" me out of my clothes and worked out my "kinks" so I could look buffed in my shirt. That was so-so, she then noticed a bulge below my beltline and proceeded investigate that for a few minutes. She's a very "thorough" investigator. Next up was the mission to finish getting dressed. That didn't take long as I was in a rush and even though the sales lady was nice, she just didn't have that same manner I like from other stores. Will I be back, I don't know, but it served the purpose. I got my outfit and made the party.
What is this "new policy" exactly? I used to frequent there before it got a little too much attention.

This is true. Downtown used to be just a run-of-the-mill spa until that girl got murdered there. After it hit the news, business tripled and then came the days of the 9-girl lineup... HWC also got a lot more business after news of their bust a couple years ago.
Well, looks like Orange and Star are hitting the CL ad hard. I'm a bit suspicious, though, how the service will be in light of the last few months.

About 10 years back there was a white-girl MP on the top floor of the stone building (old church, ha!) that has the kebob place on the ground floor. It didn't last long. And there was a steamy picture window that faced K street. It is kind of on the same block as the youth hostel, but it was in the kebob building. Not sure if this is the same place, but it was also 10 years ago, not 22.

Daaaaaang, I hit the jackpot again. I had been checking out the AMPs out near Dulles and finally got lucky a cpl years ago with this "tallish", stallion type asian who gave me FS.
