Last Saturday- Eastside stroll
I had some time to kill early last Saturday morning. Ended up visiting the old neighborhood. Saw two potentials, but my cautiousness caused me to lose out on both. (It even looked like another of my "neighbors" had the same idea on the second one.).
As I had just decided to quit my sight-seeing, I ventured down to the Poet's street and then I cannot lie, I headed west. A few blocks away, I saw a someone I thought looked friendly. SO I stopped to confirm that I still had my directions right. Turns out she was happy to help and guided me to a nearby location I had never known about before. We exchanged some pleasantries and I found out that she was Fluent in French.
With my bearings now set, I helped her back to her to her sister's apartment complex. As she got out, she asked if I was contributing to the usual Christmas fund. I threw a Jackson into the fund and she was estatic. However, I forgot to ask for name or digit should I ever get lost again.
