A few weeks ago I met a cute blond named Leah but the LEO check wasn't as definite as it normally is so I passed. It was early in the evening and it just started to sprinkle and I asked her if she needed a ride and she hopped in. When I asked what she was doing that night she said she was partying with her roommate but when I asked what kind of party she hinted at smoking pot. I've got a close to zero risk of getting caught so I passed on it and I just played free taxi driver for 10 minutes. I just saw her again tonight and it was more obvious what she was doing. I gave her something else to wrap her lips around and she did a great job with it. She wasn't comfortable coming back to my place on a first "date" so we did a car date. My car isn't at all conducive to a "date" so this weekend we will be coming back to my place for a more thorough examination (and hopefully some pics).

This is the most "required" of LEO checks, from a moonlyger standpoint. They WILL NOT GET IN.

Typical tactic, is for them to be positioned somewhere, where there is a dead-end street or parking lot they can direct you into. They'll either get the offer "on tape" and direct you in, or get you to pull around into said dead-end. This is to "box you in", so the backup can prevent you from going anywhere (aka: high speed chase).

The LEO won't get in, for HER SAFETY. All bets are off once she's in the car. She could be getting in with an armed psycho, or someone who just freaks out when she identifies herself.

LEO check for us, "hey, need a ride? Or simply "get in". Don't discuss business on the street, negotiate when you're rolling.

There's an "outside chance", of LEO using SW / CI's for stings. But that's WAY OUTSIDE, and against department policy for most PD's. Unless there's an officer present (mostly used for drug buys, ask me HOW I KNOW. LOL). They will "turn" an SW, to bust a dealer / dope house. Not a monger (s). If you get pulled right after making a pickup, it's more than likely they were "observing a known / suspected SW" (again, ask me how I know).

Much as we think they're "out to get us", they are just doing their job (s) (and an inherently dangerous one at that).

Follow some SIMPLE RULES, and you'll avoid ending up in cuffs, paying $300 bail, and whatever the tow / impound fee is to get your car back (OK. It only happened ONCE. And it happened because I BROKE MY OWN RULES).

1 - Don't discuss business / negotiate on the street, get them in the car and rolling. Even on a walk-up (like if you parked and walked up on them).

2 - If they won't get in your car, PASS.

3 - Don't be directed into a dead-end-street / parking lot before they get in. CONTROL YOUR EXIT. This applies to RIPOFF / SETUPS also.

4 - Unless they're one of our "known quantities", usually a SW hanging in the same place (and not moving), is going to have more than you "watching" her. Make a few passes, lay back and observe. Better to get "scooped", than PINCHED.

You could pull over and only ask for directions and still get a solicitation charge. All LEO will tell you is save it for the judge. Some departments will only make a clean arrest and actually make sure you made a solicitation for sex before making an arrest. Others will say you made an offer for sex no matter what you said or didn't say.

A while back I was cruising in lake worth on federal and went to pick up a very attractive young lady. She waved me into a parking lot and I didn't go. I went around the block and saw two (what appeared to be) undercovers in drive by me. I left that neighborhood fast.

These are "rules of thumb" that will keep you out of cuffs 99% of the time. COMMON SENSE does apply also.

In the instance I alluded to below. I was STUPID. I pulled around the corner and parked, did a walk up. Made an offer of $$ for an act. Got busted. Considering even in '02, I'd been doing this for quite a long time. STUPID.

Funnier still. From the back seat of the cruiser, when they were getting ready to take us all in (they got like 30 that night), I was like - "HEY, no hard feelings, want to get lunch or something after I bond out?" She says "are you crazy?

Me: They don't call me SICKRICK for nothing baby.

Fast forward 2 weeks, I see her on A1 A by the Hurricane. I'm on the motorcycle this time. So I roll up to her, and start my rap.

Me: "yeah, looking good baby. Turn around, let me check out that fine ass. Yeah baaaby, sweet ass. But you look familiar, I think I've done you before. Isn't your name DETECTIVE K** H*K of the FORT LAUDERDALE POLICE DEPARTMENT?

Her: "oh shit. SickRick. ".

We talked for a few minutes, stuff like - "you're a decent looking, funny guy. Why do you do this?

Me: "Cause ya'll are CHEAPER TO RENT, than to OWN. ".

Cops aren't the ENEMY. They're just doing a job. You think, even in the hood, the residents (that aren't DB's or running trap houses) want a bunch of SW's strolling around? With all the "consequential criminal activities" that go along with it?

That's why I live "centrally" to the lauderdale and pompahoe strolls. Not so far that they whine about coming home with me, not so close that they show up at my door or strolling up my street.

Use some common sense, have some "situational awareness", and you'll prevent a lot of the hazards that go along with this "hobby" (who's kidding who. OBSESSION).

I cruised a UC sting a year ago. Spidey senses were tingling. They wouldn't get in. Tried to direct me into the lot behind the bldg on the corner of 12th and dix. Wasn't biting.

I cruised back by awhile later. Different female, same purse. Asked her "how's hunting"? Came back through again a few minutes later, 1st deputy was back out. Told her she was cute, and to be careful.

I get about a block away get "blue-lighted" by the sarge in a marked suburban. He's like "great, you can spot my decoys, how's about you let them do their job". I reply "sure sarge, sorry, was just having some fun". We fist bump, go our separate ways.
