All I know is what I experienced and what she told me. The one review about her being "high" she admitted to being "drunk. " She said she is not a drinker but had been with a friend to G-burg and taste-tested too much moonshine before coming back for her appointment. That mixed with a prescription drug for her busted knee got her pretty out of it. She said she was in no condition to provide service and offered to make it up next time. She was very sorry that it happened the way it did and hoped the client would give her a chance to make good.

As for the missed appointments, she admitted to some back and forth and (at least once) falling asleep and missing calls.

Look, I can understand where you're coming from. If a provider burned me three times I'd be likely to put her on my no-fly list too. I'm not her pimp or her advocate. I'm just saying that my experience was fortunately different than yours. I will also say that she seems like the kind of gal who will try to make good on a problem. So if you do still want see her, then you might cut a pretty good deal.

I also know that this is not a typical business situation. These ladies have lives outside what they do and lots of things get in the way. They get stood up too and they have to balance that with the need to earn a living (many have kids and this is their livelihood). They also have to deal with varying shades of respect, politeness, cleanliness, performance, demands, fear of assault, etc. On top of that, any of them risk being arrested at any moment after that knock on the door (of course, so do mongers, but not nearly as frequently). It's a lot of pressure. I tend to cut them a little slack.

That is why I didn't say anything until the third time. Also the reports from others tends to make me think that anyone who sees her needs to know what is going on. If you have a limited time available to hobby say once a month you need to know if the provider is reliable. The thing about politeness and respect goes both ways. If she sees that she can't make an appointment the adult thing to do is to let the client know. May try to see her in the future, may not. But I think I will wait awhile to see what kind of experience others have. However I certainly see your point and if I had had the same experience you did I am sure I would have reported similarly.

I'm usually on a very tight time schedule, so it's tough to make things work out (for both me and the provider). As for having three bad experiences, I completely understand your lack of interest in getting burned again. I told her that she had to be careful about bad reviews. She can overcome them with good and consistent service, but if these kind of reports keep popping up, she's going to lose a lot of her business and not get it back. After tons of back and forth by text, due to my crazy travel schedule, I was finally able to meet up with Alexia on my way through town to my next destination today.
